To me DT Swiss hubs are not noisy, they are fairly quiet compared to an Industry9 or some other hubs.  I just grabbed up a set of used Sun-Ringle MuleFut wheels with DT Swiss 350 hubs cheap off eBay for my Trek Stache.  Not a weight upgrade so much as a reliability upgrade.  I plan on swapping out the stock boost wheels that came on the bike with a better set and selling the wheels I take off.  I'll probably only get about $200 for my used wheel set but that's okay, for a $100 I will have DT Swiss 350 hubs on my bike.
