Compared to an ordinary high profile carbon rim, this is some 350 gram heavier, what would be the advantage of this wheel - stiffness ?

it's brand new and being so cheap I'm a bit worried about the quality

I'm just asking because I always wanted a carbon wheel and these are so cheap, wanted to know if anybody has any actual experience with them
