Goin to try the  $14 BB7 Knock offs from E-bay (with rotor), The $28 IFX Crank/bb combo,  a $14 carbon post,  $20 760mm carbon bars and cheapest 056/202 frameset on the bay...  Wish me luck, I think I will need it.

Sounds like a cheap bike! I like the concept, except the cheap bars. A failure with the bar is... not good  :-X

I just ordered a jersey and set of bibs from a seller on aliexpress. I'm really satisfied with the quality and service that they provided. Their stuff is a little more expensive than other sellers, but the quality is pretty much up to the standards of stuff I would buy here in the US. Only complaint is the neck on the jersey is a little baggy. I'd prefer it to be a little more snug. Check them out!

I like the Assos-like pose of the model :)
But I agree that their product seem to be of a higher standard than other vendors. I was specifically interested with some of their shoes, really nice looking, but I really don't need shoes for now  :(

I was looking at shoes on AlIExpress but ended up not going with any. I figured it wasn't worth the price to get something my feet would be uncomfortable in. Maybe if someone else orders some first and has a good experience I would consider it!

They use the smaller Asian sizing. It seems like the charts that they provide to compare Asian vs. US are pretty accurate.

I bought last year an MTB short from Santic https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Santic-Cycling-Shorts-Gray-3D-Padded-L-3XL-KS002/1985488_32677783703.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.0YcmNG

While the short is ok for the summer, and I continue to wear it.
The inside mesh with the pad is really poor and I don't use it.

I'm tempted to try a bib short( yeah... too look like the Assos guy  :D ), but based on this past experience, I'm in doubt  :o

I actually was able to get out yesterday for my first ride in the bibs. To be honest I found the pad and materials to be more comfortable than my Pearl Izumi shorts. Granted the ride was only about 30 miles, but I just felt like the pad provided a little more firmness. I also made sure that the bibs I ordered were the "sponge" version to avoid cheap gel pads. The only thing that makes these noticibly cheaper are the way the stitching is done on the inside. If you guys want I'll post some photos so you can see what I'm talking about. First impressions are great, but we'll see how long these things can actually hold up. I'm hoping to get maybe 2 years out of them.

Thanks for risking :) Which bibs/jersey did you order in particular?
There are many.

I ordered my first piece of Chinese carbon; some MIRACLE 44cm compact drop bars. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Miralce-New-Ful-Carbon-Fiber-Road-Bicycle-Cylcing-Bike-Compact-Handlebar-Drop-Bars-Carbon-31-8/32525694729.html

I really liked the layout of the bar, so I'm excited to see how it handles. Hopefully I keep all my teeth through the cyclocross season.

Are there any Chinese carbon cranks that are cheaper then SRAM and RaceFace?

Just received my Castelli socks. Very high quality! Shipping was about 10 days. They arrive in an individual packaging that looks really nice. I'm surprised by the quality, glad I grabbed 6 pairs (3 white, 3 black) when price was low (paid 2.8€/pair).
