maybe look on the used market? many sell their older XT cranks for whatever reason.
Or maybe even try out IXF cranks(aliexpress). Surely they are heavy and no fancy hollowtech technology, but i got them for 29€ BB(Shimano 24mm Standard BSA) included.
If you are on a extreme budget and weight isn't much of a concern, they might work for you. They got the older 104mm BCD for the outer and 64mm BCD inner, so you could either reuse you older chainrings or get motsugov aluminium alloy 7075 series narrow wide. cost me under 7€ per piece. i got myself 32t, 34t, 36t and 38t for every situation, also all together cost less than a name brand chainring. They are also available in oval(i use them on every bike i own) so if you want to try oval, without absolute-black, rotor or osymmetric chainrings, thats a possibility
