27.5+ Hardtail Frames

(1/1)

seat_boy:
I'm trying to get my head around what frames will fit 27.5+ plus tires. I don't have any interest in 29+... been there, too much inertia for my tight trails.

I would be happy with a frame that can fit a 2.8, so maybe some 29er frames will work?

Here's my list so far:

1) FM-M796+
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/T800-mtb-carbon-frame-27-5er-mountain-bicycle-27-5-inch-plus-thru-axle-frame-FM/32804199504.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.pMQ2kT

Steep head angle, only two sizes, BB92, Boost or 142mm rear

2) CS-496 (the e-stay bike)
http://www.carbonspeedbikes.com/shop/mountain/cs-496-27-529-plus-frameset/

Modern head angle, but not enough stack for my taste, bottom bracket may be a bit low with B+ tires, BB92

3) CS-496 copy (another e-stay bike)
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Toray-800-carbon-fiber-MTB-27-5er-frame-new-thru-axle-carbon-fiber-650B-plus-frame/32824016630.html

PF30, Boost, 27.5+, but more head tube length than the CS-496

4) FM-299
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/27-5er-650B-PLUS-Boost-Super-Light-Carbon-MTB-Frame-Bicycle-Frame-FM299-148-12MM-MAX/32839565262.html

This is the frame with the dropped right chainstay.
BB92, 71 HA, 21" size available but no geo listed.

5) FM-476
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/27-er-Boost-full-carbon-bicycle-frame-carbon-mtb-frame-27-5-plus-carbon-650b-mountain/32775531818.html

BB92, says QR or thru axle, but I'm guessing it's boost. This one actually looks pretty good, 21" size available, 69.5 head angle.

I'm sure there's more out there, what else have you seen?

Stay away from pavisports. I got their plus hardtail that came with misaligned bottom bracket housing. It was creaking from day one and eventually cracked on non drive side. You will get nothing from this company except "have a nice day". No quality control. No warranty. No bueno.

Sorry if I missed this, but are there any Chinese equivalents to the Trek Farley frame?  I would like to run 27.5 x 4.5 or 4 inch tires?
