Hello,

I am new to road bikes. I have decided to purchase the components from aliexpress so reduce the price a bit.
As I am very new to this field I probably have not selected all the components compatible.

Kinlin makes some very lightweight wheels. these ones are pretty much on Mavic ksyrium level with the pricetag that is less than from the asksiums
Frame choice is alright though i heard of someone that they are pretty flexy but quite comfy. And well...they are quite popluar on aliexpress
Handlebars are okay. A friend of mine had a crash where he slapped them really hard with all the weight in a turn onto tarmac and they cracked but he could ride home. They didn't scatter into a thousand pieces though
Love the new R8000 groupset. Good choice!
forget the tires. Cheap ones are still even on aliexpress crap. Michelin dynamic sport? hell no. consider at least a schwalbe durano or perhaps a Schwalbe one or continental gp 4000
the innner tubes are plenty cheap at decathlon. paid 2.5€ for the pairs. bought 10 tubes and probably will order more since they work just fine and are so cheap
Perhaps consider a -17° stem? or is it too racy? i think it might add a bit of agility

Thank you very much for your suggestions!
I have purchased the recommended wheels by you and I will get tires locally.
All other components purchased as well.

Indeed I am coming from MTB side and I don't want the bike to be too racy. (that's why 6 deg stem)
I may need to adjust the handlebar stem later as the frame may be a a bit smaller for my 186 cm height.
Will see.

I am going to take a picture if I manager to assemble all those parts

Please make a small review when the wheels arrive. I'm so curious about how a affordable wheelset that weighs around 1500g performs. Not that i want to not recommend getting tires locally, but literally paid twice the price compared to my preferred online shop. So even when only ordering a 10€ tire for my commuter and 6€ shipping, i would still pay less compared to the shop price of 20€.
Don't know where you live but if it's near Germany, bikecomponents.de is a really awsome shop with very good prices and exceptional customer service

Me too, but on my MTB i use a 110mm -17° stem since i love a aggressive climbing position. A 55cm frame size should work just fine. i got a 54cm frame and I'm 182cm tall. A longer stem and ur good to go

I am from Bulgaria.
Yes I use bikecomponents.de from time to time.

Purchasing from China has one big advantage to me.
You order and you get excited yourself for at least a month before you get the components in.
A good strategy in the consumer world we are living I beleive

I will try to describe the wheelset after they arrive but I am afraid I don't have a basis for comparison.
We will see.
