Road frameset U-brake [Hongfu]
« on: September 12, 2018, 07:13:42 AM »
Hey.
I am looking for a carbon road frameset. I would like to spend up to 550-600 $ with shipping to EU. I found FM296 + FK008 + SP028 + seatpost. This is from Hongfu. 400 $ + 150 $ shipping. Did we order anything from Hongfu? Is someone riding on this frame? This frame is not meant to be light. It has to be strong, hard and comfortable. The frame 800g and less I do not want. This is supposed to be a "daily bike".
I weight ~ 170-180lb

Did you consider a gravel bike instead ?
These are quite sturdy bikes.
You can use it as a road bike too, if you put road tires on it.

Here is the one I built about 8 months ago.

It was $490 last January.

No,
I'm looking for a road frame.
I do not want to gravel.
It must have fixing 100x9, 130x9/10 and U-brake, because I have a road bike. I want buy road frameset, and give her my components.

I've been using my Dengfu FM-098 bike for the past 6 years and can't complain about it. It's no lightweight but I really like it. I'm pretty sure you could have it for less than what you're ready to pay right now since it's an old frame.

True...but Alec was the frame builder and Ken built wheels although they never got on.

I take it the decal is missing? 27.2mm seatpost?
