Pricepoint has a Haro 29er carbon hardtail on special for $1099.98, down from $2,600.  Lower end components but it's a complete bike from a US seller.

I wish I was reasonable enough to just buy this bike lol. But for some reason, I tend to over analyze every single component, and I'd end up swapping out about $5-700 worth of components before it was all said and done. Awesome deal though.

To me, that is really the reason behind the chiner's besides how one 'decorates' them, being able to choose the parts one wants.
Very few of the parts on the Haro have been chosen by anybody building a Chiner.
