I have noted a couple of new looking frames on the web.

This one looking especially nice.

That's been a round for a little while but I haven't seen any reviews for it. I would like to have seen it go bigger than 2.35 for boost though.

I'm interested to see what it would take as 27.5 +

Edit: I'll add that I have read a couple of bad things about BXT as far as customer support and quality is concerned but I am still very happy with the HT frame I got the boy from them. I wonder if the bad customer support reports are from the official BXT store or one of the re-sellers? There are a couple of BXT re-sellers on ali

Thanks for that. I sincerely hope I never have to deal with a warranted of a Chinese Carbon product, but If one buys enough I guess its inevitable. If I think of the guys around me, 2 on Scott and one on Giant, they have all had frames replaced.
I have been on a ICAN P8 for 12 months now. I have only done about 1000km on it, but those have been 80% technical singletrack. I have had it at bikeparks jump trails and just did our local National Champs Enduro race on it which had some pretty gnarly stuff on it. It has been perfect.

Hence me looking at upping my travel slightly, for Enduro racing, But the seat angles on some of the ICAN bikes are slightly slack.. just want to make sure this will be better. Technically I can swap my parts across. Price is 300$ more than I paid for my P8 though.

I got it straight from ICAN and had someone bring it in for me.

I see the BXT 150mm frames are not baly priced. Before I logged into Alibaba it showed this price:

if you are very happy with the P8, but just want more travel, why would you get this BXT instead of, say, a P9?  the P9 appears to have slightly more updated geometry than that BXT frame - steeper seat angle, slacker head angle, shorter stays.  I'm not sure what the advantages of the BXT frame are.

if you are after a 150mm travel frame, have you also considered the FM08/FS713?  While it doesn't have a threaded BB, that frame has more updated geometry.  In particular, the stays are much shorter.  The reach on it is longer too.  After riding a few 29ers with stays in the 435-440mm range, i don't think i would even consider a frame with stays longer than 450mm, especially if i wanted to ride twisty singletrack on it.

Heres my P9 from Ican. Coming from a xc background I found this bike a joy to ride. Its given me a touch more confidence on doing jumps and stuff .

I dont want any more slacker angles than this because it climbs so well for a 150mm travel bike and it handles the rougher downhills brilliantly.

I think the obvious choice would be the P9, yes since its well proven by now.
Its still early days and I'm only really considering the going 150mm it. My P8 is really pretty good. At 130mm and a 120-150mm Pike DPA, its really versitile. The seat angle is the worst thing really as I lave quite a bit of seatpost extension which puts me way back over the rear axel. Apart from that, its only on the Gnarly stuff at high speeds I think the added stability and confidence inspired from the proper Enduro Geometry would really be better. And I'd like to race a full season of Enduro next year so thats why I'm contemplating it.

Also Just wanted to see if there were anything new out there.
