Hi,

I think I should change the size of my order from M to S. I'm 5'8". The Santa Cruz hightower sizing chart recommends M for 5'5"-5'9" = Haideli S. My current 120mm travel bike has a 460 seat tube and 593 top tube and fits OK.

How is everyone else determining the size to get?

I did the same,  looked on SC website and went size smaller than what they recommended.

No news that I know of. I'd honestly be surprised if this deal happened at this point. We'll just leave the thread open just in case. I'll attempt to reach out one more time for an update.

Posted in the other thread as well. Sent a message to topfire. Production is starting after chinese new year for larger sizes. Price is 680usd so not as good as the inital 499usd price. 10pcs less $30 50pcs less$50.

Interesting news. Price increase sucks, though.

Thanks for the info. Not sure if it's worth the effort for a $50 dollar discount? Open to the opinions of the group.

Pretty disappointing how the original seller just bailed out of the deal.

At this rate, it would be best for individual purchases. Hopefully there's updates from people who have already bought the frame.

I would have thought any discount would still be worthwhile.

I'd go back and ask for $600 each for this group buy - given the possibility that it could be over 50pcs.  Plus shipping and paint etc. I got quoted $750 for a Carbonda Fm1001 so still a fairly decent price.  $100 more is about £70. Not the end of the world.

At worse, it's a no and either carry on at $630 or bin it off and it's individual purchases as $680.

Never hurts to ask. It is a big buy, seems like they could do better on the discount.
