What would you consider to be a good angle ?
The Trifox mentionned here has 68.5º

How about putting a 120mm fork on it?

Haha! No, think about it this way - I've been riding on 71 HA for "few" years and now I have tasted the progressive geometry - don't want to go back

Wondering how you came out with these. Are they really S-Works Epic clones? How close is the geometry and are they holding up okay?

I ended up getting the Trifox. It does have 3 ports in the headtube, allowing for the internal dropper cable.

Overall, the quality is v good. I weighted the bare large frame at 912 grms.

Supplied seatpost is rubbish, a good bit less than 30.9, so loose in the frame and slipped during 1st ride. Dropper in there now.
The rear brake threads were tight, and I needed to add washers to the caliper bolt as the hole in the frame was not that deep.
The rear derailleur exit port was poor. I needed to dremel out the insert so I could feed in the outer casing.
I got the 740mm trifox flat bars, seem good quality and I weighed them at 152 grms.
Threaded BB is nice, 73mm so no spacers required.
2.35 maxxis tyres fit fine with good clearance.
The rest of the build was XT/SLX mix. Wheels are ztto microspline hubs with carbonbearm rims. 1450 grms. Snail china xtr chainring copy is nice.

Looks great. How do you like it? Any reason you still went with Trifox instead of one of the alternatives that martocom posted? Considering one of these.

I have frame on order. Which size dropper did you get?  I got the medium frame but have waiting on the bike so i can confirm insertion depth. Do you have any pictures of what you had to do to the derailleur exit port?  Worried about that one.

The Trifox sdy20 is 73mm bb?  Site has it listed as BSA 68mm.  Can you confirm?

I am absolutely happy with SPM-05 Frame.
The geometry is very close to the Epic.

SP-M016 Build:
Pretty good build quality. Headset, BSA bottom bracket, derailleur hanger, axle, finish all very clean and fit well. Built up with some spare parts and RS Judy 100mm for my 13yo son to ride cross country team this year. 28 pounds with some pretty heavy wheels, tires, fork, and NX crank.

I almost have my Spcycle SP-M05 ready for a test ride.   I purchased the frame a year ago.  Finally accumulated the parts, built the wheels and put it together.
All of the parts have been sourced via Aliexpress except for:  RaceFace Next Carbon cranks/BB, Scumano XT rear derailleur and shift pod,  Flite saddle, PWN Coast dropper, and the tires.
I have a Rock Shock SID Ultimate SL on order to replace the Trifox carbon fork.

Hits the scale at 19.7 lbs.   When I add the Rockshox front fork, weight should be under 22lbs.

I found Trifox frames to be a little too expensive, for nothing great in return.

I will probably build 2 of them in the coming weeks, to test.
