Interesting frame! I am looking for a pure XC version (light build, 100mm fork) next to my FM936 which is still going strong after around 1000kms.
At the moment I have some doubts going for this one straight away, I am thinking to wait till there are more shops offering alternative frames with a modern geometry.
I don't see too many differences between this frame and the FM936; the geometry seems more or less the same (reach, stack, chainstay length, seat and head tube angles) as well as the weight of the (superlight) frame.

What could be more benefits of this frame compared to the FM936, next to having space for two bidons? Will the suspension design bring more benefits?

Just wondering what your considerations are, I'm planning to spend some time to dive in the suspensions designs a bit.

Yeah, that's in the territory of the newest Specialized Epic/Epic Evo S-Works frame.  Crazy light.

I actually tried to get an S-Works Evo frame thru a company with some local racers I have contacts with and the new Evos were just unobtanium.

You're right! I thought the FM936 was also around 1700 grams, but it is slightly over 1900 grams indeed. So that is another good reason to get this one

I also noticed it. I think for tecky riding FM936 will be better because of lower center of weight. But this one has room for 2 bottles and is lighter.

In my opinion, the main issue on this frame and 936 is the seat tube:
considering S24 comparison is the latest Specy Epic, their seat tube is too short.
I.e. If I consider the seat tube, I should buy a L size but reach and wheelbase is enormous while on M size the seat tube is too short while other measures would fit perfectly on my body.
Angles and measures are intriguing but extreme IMHO.

I'm just the opposite - I want the longer bike, but seat tubes are too long for me.  The S5/24 actually fixes this a bit for me. I might be able to make a 150mm dropper work with the large.

Perhaps this frame can do 115 mm travel with 45 stroke

This frame from the looks can fit a piggy back shock.
