Anyone seen any other gravel frames out there with geometry like the Hagar?

Maybe a 29er hardtail frame (non-boost) that can run a 42-44 chainring?

AKAIK there isn't really anything comparable. Even the fork on the Chamois is non-standard. My advice would be to get a custom titanium frame made, Evil will sell you the fork separately (I bought one). If you'd like an experienced middle man to help you with the frame design contact Jason at Unicorn Cycles. The frame you're talking about would likely be $1400 delivered.

I did what you mentioned, 29er frame/fork with drop bars.  To be honest I don't ride it enough to give a good review on the setup, but that's not because I don't like the bike, I just ride trails 99% of the time that I don't want to ride rigid.  Thought I'd ride gravel more than I do.

Actually your build is where I was headed a while back, but got sidetracked a bit.  I was looking for a similar non-boost frame that would work with a 42t ring and never found one (have a nice set of non-boost wheels for this project already).

I would just get the Thesis OB1 frame module, but really want at least a 30.9 seat tube for more dropper options.
