The WCB-R-369 and WCB-R-366 frames looks really nice. Once launched they'll probably be the most modern open mould frames out there in terms of tube profile and T47 BB. Question is, will Velobuild also sell it? The Workswell margin sure works well for them...

My friend and I bought matching WCB-R-081 Workswell frames back in 2018 (what became the WCB-R-226) and were very happy with them. Mine developed what was possibly a hairline crack in the head tube and Workswell replaced the frame for me under their 2 yr warranty program. Communication was a bit slot at times but it comes with the territory. I would recommend them to someone looking into buying one of their frames.

I've since replaced my Workswell road bike with the Velobuild 168 and have been very happy with it so far.

I got some 2D drawings from Workswell on the 366. Very comparable tire clearance to the Carbonda 1056 if you are looking for second option. The fork looks to be the limiting factor.

The Schmolke KOM is a rebranded Workswell WCB-R-093

They might be priced at the higher end but their operation feels legitimate and dependable to me which is not always the case for open mould

Their site has real pics now, looks very good imo

I'm riding WCB-R-093 frame from 2017. Frame has good quality, but it is too light (little bit flexy rear end even with my 125 lbs, frame size 48). I rode probably 30k on the road and about 10-15k on my trainer. I had couple of crashes, including nasty one, broke handlebar and seatpost, but frame is OK. Good communications with Workswell, but initially it took them about 2 months longer to produce my frame.

Also right now I'm looking for thir WCB-R-316 frame for newer build. They quoted me with this numbers:

- Normal weight Frame size 54cm around 1100±40g
- Normal weight Fork weight around 460±10g
- Super weight Frame size 54cm around 860±40g
- Super  weight Fork weight around 400±10g

- WCB-R-306 Full internal cable routing Normal weight Frame =769USD(Include:frame, fork, seatpost, clamp. Finish: black matte/glossy)
- WCB-R-316 Full internal cable routing Super Light weight Frame =879USD(Include:frame, fork, seatpost, clamp. Finish: black matte/glossy)

- WXY Shipping costs to EU include the VAT taxes =247USD

Biggest problem with Workswell is that aside from their endurance frames, the vast majority of their portfolio is now indefinitely suspended for sales to individuals.  So not very useful for us.

Well.. that's interesting ... isn't Schmolke pretending to engineer everything on their own?  ::)

Besides.. still happy with my WCB-R-268. 4000km outside now and 12000km on Zwift. It's definitely really rigid. Not a very comfortable bike.  ;) the handlebar is quite flexy, my contact at Workswell told me that this had been changed later to more rigid design due to customer complaints...however for me it's good, since the bike itself is quite stiff and at least the handlebar gives a bit of shock dampening.

Also their newly listed WCB-R-369 looks pretty interesting.  Aero and 32mm clearance.

The site has real pics of the 369 now

Hi there,

Recently my steerer area developed a very bad groaning sound.
I already tried cleaning everything,  maybe I need to exchange the bearings   ???. Fully internal routing means a lot of work... however,  I can't continue riding like this.
Unfortunately I was to stupid to make a short note which bearings must be used. I know it's 52mm OD , 8mm  for the upper and 7mm  for the lower one and 45°/45°. Is the inner diameter the common 40?
I used the workswell headset, I think the FSA or Acros style is not fitting to the Workswell handlebar. I compared both types of spacers and it's not compatible. Otherwise I would just exchange everything with FSA..also because I don't really like the compression half ring.. its to stiff to really clamp the fork.
What are you guys using for that?
I have a 268 by the way.

Any updates about WCB-R-369 production state? Do they have any plans to sell it to the customers in near future?
