250g rims from Lightbicycle

Lightbicycle is offering two new rims.
One for XC and one for gravel both at around 250g !

The XC924 and the AR25

Apparently the AR25 has a different layup to make the hooks stronger for 4.8bar/70psi tire pressure and 2.8bar/40psi for the XC924.
Otherwise they look quite the same.

Not sure about their hybrid hook except it looks pretty  :)
I run 29er hookless 300g rims on my gravel and never lost a tire.

Paired with Maxxis Maxxlite tires they could make a great wheels... for weighting the bike.

Those rims look identical with the exception of the pressure ratings. My guess is that the narrower tires allow for greater pressure.

With them being identical, the recommended tire widths seems too wide for an XC rim (24mm internal rim width).

It's nice to have options but the 90kg weight limit on both is a no go for me personally. I tend to overbuild things somewhat and have had great luck with 700c rims in the neighborhood 320 grams with 32 hole 3x lacing.

...I do like the fact that both are asymmetric. That is almost exclusively my preference.
