frame advice for lcfs958, sishun fs848, and fm1001
« on: December 07, 2022, 12:54:37 PM »
hello,  I'm looking to build a mid travel bike in the new year.  the 3 models i'm most interested in are posted above.  The Lightcarbon LCFS958 is the most aesthetically pleasing to me but some on this site have complained about the shock mounts breaking.

What I'm wondering is if there are any long term use reviews of the above 3 models out there?

I get that the fm1001 has the most write ups, so I'm mostly looking for the other 2 models.

Thanks for checking out this post

Like you said, the FM1001 is well established.

The light carbon seems to be a great bike. We've seen some issues with carbon quality and quality control.

Im not familiar with the other frame, do you have any links?

Manufacturer is most important with these frames. Doesn't matter how good the frame looks if it doe

Here's the link:   https://www.yishunbike.com/product/fs848-trail/

Yishun also sells their version fs958.

According to this thread, they work with Light Carbon: http://chinertown.com/index.php?topic=2953.0

Might not be able to get the FS848 without buying 50.

Not sure if Yishun would have different quality control.
