What does lightcarbon say?

repoman:
Yikes! The fact that these breaks are in different spots is even more concerning...like the CF they are using or process is bad?

Waiting for their full response.  They were super responsive so I want to give them the chance to correct it.  If they have a new rear triangle that would be a great solution.  The frame seems very thin and spindly for the leverage forces that are taking place.

The rider is about 190lbs and we had to run a 650lb spring to get 30% sag.  This frame is definitely at the limit of the leverage curve.

So I heard back from light carbon on this issue. They are going to replace the frame with the new version or updated version under warranty.  I was given a time frame of middle of October.  I was told they are doing additional testing on the frame and a stronger rear swing arm will be made.  One cool feature is the new version of the frame will have down tube storage under the water bottle mounts.

Not a great situation to be in but I can't really ask for a better resolution from Light Carbon. As it stands I am very happy with the process and excited to see the new frame.  I will post an update when I have more info
