30mm and 35mm Hookless rims.. Opinions?

<< < (2/4) > >>

Izzy:
Yeah, don't over think the width thing man. I say go with the 30mm for normal cross country/all mountain trail riding.

Jake:
What is the weight of these two rims?
I can't find them on http://www.xmiplay.com/

I am thinking of 35 mm OD 30 mm ID in front and the narrower one in the back

Carbon_Dude:
My 30mm (Outside width) weigh 1580g with the 6-pawl Bitex BT401R hubs and XD free hub.

Sitar_Ned:
But you don't have the hookless, do you? Possibly you were just providing a reference point. Not saying it would make a dramatic difference in weight but it's worth noting, as I believe one of the benefits of hookless is them being lighter?

Carbon_Dude:
Sorry no, mine are clincher rims.  Hookless should weigh a bit less, but I'm just guessing on that.
