Workswell WCB R 326
« on: April 29, 2024, 04:06:49 AM »
Hello.
I'm looking for a new frame and I really like the shape of the workswell 326 disc.
Unfortunately they don't sell single frame to Italy, anyone know who resell the same frame or can give me some advice on how to purchase it?
Thanks

Workswell sells at a premium to a lot of competitors, and there are plenty of horror stories on the forum about their frames. You're saying that on top of that questionable OEM price, you want to pay the price whatever boutique charges in Italy? Basically you're looking to spend 3 or 4k on a Workswell frame with the logo of some bogus pseudo brand?
Why? :)

Thanks for your reply.
So based on your experience can you suggest a similar frame (as per shape and geometry) to the WCB 326?
Unfortunately I'm looking for a 405/410 reach and 600 stack that is not so common for Chinese frameset

I don't recall whether Yishun makes available their R068-D to the general public but size 59 is listed with a 597 stack and 404.4 reach.
https://www.yishunbike.com/product/r068-dperformance-road/

On the premium side, the Tavelo Attack has a 594 stack and 404 reach (size XXL).

LT268?

Geometry works, just use a stem longer by 1cm.
I have one, love it. Photo from this w-e. i've put 3k km on it so far.
Alternatively, VB 268 (a bit lower stack, and the thread on the forum has quite a few people reporting problems, but i suspect they get ironed out over time).
Or the SP Cycle 025SL, but for a change, it doesn't look like an SL7. Geometry wise, it's close to what you're after. 30C max though.
Or Yishun R1058D, but also 30C only.
The last 3 are very recent models so you'd get the latest and greatest (hopefully / presumably) in layup, weight and so on. But I only have nice things to say about my 268.

In the meantime I found it from an Italian seller (for a crazy price)
The good news is that this seller is really close where a live so I can go to see the frame from live

Adapt dont do d2c, only way you can get that is if some brand is selling it under their name
