IIRC the default position is already as close as they can get. You can only get them further away from the handlebars. At least that's what i've heard. Given how small the shifters are the lever reach seems rather high unfortunately.


That may be true for some but I find the shifter position perfect for me.

Yes, just checked and it is at its closest position. Bummer. I have an other bike with GRX600 at home, and that at is furthest position is still one cm closer to the handlebar than the gex with its closest. The grx set to its closest is almost 3 cm closer, so there is way more range there. Honestly I fail to see why would anyone need higher lever reach than the closest on the GeX, so seems like a weird range to me.

Yep, I see it the same way. That's definitely a design flaw...
