Hey everyone,

Has anyone experienced creaking issues with the Magene PES P505? I couldn't pinpoint the source of the noise on my bike, so I took it to my trusted local cycling shop. After a thorough check, the mechanic concluded that the creaking is coming from the interface between the power meter and the crank (both Magene).

He inspected the mounting interface on the backside, but everything appears to be in order. Given this, I’m wondering—could this be a defect in the unit, or is there something else I should try to fix it?

Any insights or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Make sure everything is tightened to spec (torque) and add in a bit of carbon paste on the contact points, and make sure the screws are lubed and/or add in some thread lock.

I just did first ride with installed Magene PM and I have an issue with creaking when pedaling under load. I'm not sure where it's going from. I have Megene PM compared with 105 chainring.
