My original thoughts on not buying a second hand carbon frame:
- You don't know how it has been treated or if it has been in a crash.
- Copy cat frames that may be of questionable quality. (It could also be from the same factory but I doubt it)
This just adds the don't buy second hand carbon unless you know the owner personally and know exactly where they purchased it. I mean if you are a carbon expert and can spot issues then go for it, most of us are not.
I finally have my Velobuild TT-023 in a place where the bike feels right. I need a bike fit but most of the issues are resolved. Just spent the last hour at 30+km/h with the bike feeling nothing but fast, the rider not so much. Got some looks from the tri-club training on the track, but that was probably because I was the only person running a full disk and that guy wearing a t-shirt

. I am using the bike for Ironman in a few months so that will be a true test of the bike.
Decide on a frame, build the bike and ride it.
