Final verdict on the 24mm spindle Lexon cranks. Super nice, look good, well boxed. Been riding them since DEC. I have had non-stop issues with chainring occilation. At first it was pretty bad. Narrowed it down to an out of spec spider. Replaced the spider and Ryet chainrings with Stone spider and chainrings. Dramatically reduced the chainring rub on the FD. Lexon’s spiders are out of spec and so tight fitting that I think they flex chainrings ever so slightly.
Fixed all of these issues back in FEB. Still getting a very, very slight chainring drag on the FD every 12 - 3 o’clock stroke on the drive side. Finally, I caved and ordered a set of Elilee 310s. First time with Elilee. Very impressed. Just did a quick 50km, the Elilees are way stiffer and there is zero chainring oscillation or drag on the FD.
My personal opinion is that the Lexon cranks are a bit flexy. Based on issues others have pointed I don’t recommend these.
