MTB2223:
Does someone has experience with Fun Works N-Light Evo hubs?
I'm considering to buy these wheels with these hubs:

Hey MTB.. How much do you weigh? that's a super light wheelset, which is a good thing of they're strong enough. I can't tell if they're carbon or ally rims? I know Carbon Dude has experience with an ultra light aluminum set that he uses, and says that he regrets going so light bc they simply aren't strong enough.
Interested to see what he has to say. Other than that, never heard of the brand before.

My weight is 82 kg (181lb). And these are alloy rims.
I'm not sure, but I think these hubs are the same as Novatec, which also used by SuperStar. It's not topnotch, but fair enough.
Couldn't find long-term reviews.

I was actually thinking these were probably the novatech rims. They're rebranded all over the place. From what I've read the hubs are pretty nice.. especially for the price. I would personally be more worried about the rims. Now that I know they are alloy.. Yeah, just under 1500 grams seems super light - but maybe in a bad way. At 181 you're like right in the middle.. not really heavy... but not really light lol.
Buy 'em, and ride em hard and replace with some carbon hoops is certainly a justifiable plan :)
