I also ordered some Stickers from Doityourselflettering.com, I'm hoping it turns out looking good!  Still trying to find time for visit to LBS, to get a full crown race, and maybe cut the fork (its flush with top). Probably have them install BB, I don't have the tool

So I made it to LBS today got the headset installed, BB, and crank. Took him no more than 25 minutes, and cost me $65! Didn't know it cost so much! The manager said it was right amount. Could have bought the tools and installed myself for cheaper.  Well now I don't have enough $ for some new mtb shoes to go with my crank brothers. Oh well, guess I'll save up some more

That's not a crown race. It's the compression ring. Just google mountain bike headset. Look at the images.

Fork, Shimano groupset + brakes are heavy. That's why you are not sub-10kg. Tubeless is a must as well, gain in weight and comfort.
But with such light wheels the bike should be pretty fast and dynamic despite the total weight.

Yeah it should ride great, might consider tubeless on next set of tires.

Received the wheels yesterday! Have all the parts, just don't know when I'll get the bike built. I put the wheel weight in build list.

You can probably drop a good 200gr by going tubeless and another 75gr by going with some bolt through axles.

After ending up buying some more tools, finished the build. Doing final adjustments, need a shock pump, plus waiting on some rim tape, have the Tubes in, but could pop with spoke holes.  Total weight 10.18kg.  Rides great!!  Fast!  Pic coming soon
