The current batch of Sensah shifters have all the kinks ironed out. I'd go Sensah over LTwoo mechanical any day just so I wouldn't have to fiddle with that dumb Ltwoo thumb shifter.

Saying that, 11 speed Ultegra mechanical is the way to go or pick up 12 speed 105 R7100 hydraulics. They seem to be priced similar.

I'm starting to appreciate 12 speed and the better gear spread you get as you size up on the cassette.

Anyone running these with Shimano derailleurs? Is that thumb shifter comfortable? How do they hold up over time? And how much do the shifters weigh? I feel like these shifters + Shimano derailleurs are a cheap weight-weenieish setup.

I didn't like the Ltwoo thumb shifter. I couldn't fully wrap my hand around the shifters because it was in the way. If you shop around you can find Ultegra hydraulic shifters for a good price. Also I'd rather run the  Sensah Team Pro HRD shifters, mainly because I prefer the solid click shifts especially on the left shifter. If going mechanical those would be my 2 choices.

Well, you haven't had it for that long so too early to tell, I'd say.
Mine's also working fine still all the way through a very wet winter here. I'm past 3000k/1800miles now. I too am cautiously optimistic that I might have a well working unit. But so thought SergeK, until they all broke down on him.

I live in one the best climates for cycling so wet and/or cold weather isn't an issue for me. Though I did take all the preventative precautions for the battery cables. If the weather is wet, either I ride an indoor trainer or I take my gravel bike instead. I used the ER9 as an excuse to move to both 12 speed and electronic.

I'll be the first to report back if I have any issues, but I chanced getting the groupset knowing I wouldn't be riding in extreme weather.

After ride number 5 where the shifters stopped working, I have finally reached the point of permanently moving forward. Is there a way to use parts (such as the breaking calipers) in a shimano groupset?

I'm using LTwoo calipers on my other Ultegra mechanical road bike. They work pretty good and I was able to standardize my 3 bikes with the same brake pads (GRX, Ultegra and LTwoo).

I'm on the opposite spectrum of ER9/X users on here, because my ER9 has been working great. Shifts are spot on and no issues with battery drain. My groupset has been used almost exclusively for climbing on rough mountain roads, so it's not like it's being babied either with the full range of shifting being used. It's been so good I want to buy another ER9. I'm not the most OCD bike mechanic, but I try to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Maybe I'm using some sort of goldilocks combination where everything is working just right or maybe my groupset was built on a Wednesday so QC was a bit better that day! ;D

I ride both a high seatpost TFSA SL6 clone and an SPCycle frame with more aero/upright geometry. Even though the SPCycle frame has better power transfer, my TFSA frame definitely climbs better since I can "dig" myself more into the cockpit...if that makes sense?

ICAN sent me a price of $595 USD for their FL1 frame + additional shipping cost and $85 USD for custom paint job. It's a sub 800g frame and makes it a bit cheaper than either the Onirii One or the Bigrock frame, though I think it's the heaviest of the Aethos clones.

My ER9 derailleur cage has just a minor outward bend and shifts fine on a 12 speed cassette. Though the ER9 has a full alloy cage setup, while I believe your ERX cage is an alloy+carbon setup. The carbon could be flexing more outward?

Panda Podium posted a video on his IG profile:

You could use the SPCycle top headset cover that uses 4 individual holes:

You could also try putting some sort of rubber covering to prevent moisture exposure. Either that or swap to a fully internal bar setup.

The 2nd iteration Racework crankset is also the same design as the Riro crankset.

It's an improvement over the previous design, but I did have problems installing it on non-Shimano bottom brackets. It would seize up before fully locking down. It works fine on both Shimano Ultegra PF and threaded BSA bottom brackets, but I had issues installing it on my threaded PF BB that was non-Shimano. I'm guessing it might be a difference in bearing size that's causing an issue?

This 29mm axle version looks interesting for the 3rd design iteration. I'm guessing it locks in from the non-drive side with a built-in locking screw. I wonder if they'll use this design for the 24mm axle version?

Johnathan you make a good point about ride comfort and seat stay height. My gripe with the Aethos style frames is their seat stays are so low they almost look like XC bikes. The average newish road bike frame usually gets it right to me.

The seat stays on the Aethos are right up by the seat post or are you talking about something else?

I'm getting more interested in that ICAN frameset, mainly due to the T47 threaded BB and wider 32c tire clearance. It makes it more flexible than the other Aethos clones. That frame could be put into light gravel duty with just a wheel/tire swap. I could also see myself using something like a 48-32t chainring and an 11-34/36t cassette to make it a real low gear climber.

Do we know what's different? From the panda podium video I didn't understand what changed with the new erx (with the exception of the brakes but i don't think anyone had any issue with the brakes, I certainly didn't).

The FD cage shape was the other external change with the newer blue edition. Not sure what internal changes if any were done though.

Likely the egr mech doesnt support 2x as the rd is the only reciever in the drivetrain and needs to send  a signal to shift to the fd. The egr and new erx levers are identical

I remember Trace Velo had problems with his FD not working since it couldn't communicate with the RD which was most likely the main receiver for the shifters. The FD itself doesn't communicate directly. Though it'd be interesting to know if you could mix shifters across various electronic groupset. Like using the LTwoo AE MTB e-shifter mechanism (not sure what to call it) with ER9/X shifters. That would open up the possibilities for other 1x drivetrains at least.

What's the material of the black cogs? Please be specific in what you bought because I assume RIRO, whoever they are, sell different types of cassettes?

Probably this one:

Pretty much an Aethos clone

That frame ticks all the boxes for me, but yeah does look like an Aethos. I guess you can only do so much with round tubes!

On a side note. I do have an older SPCycle aero frame with high seat stays, level top tube and less exposed seat post. It's not very comfortable on rough flats. The Aethos style design with the slack top tube allows more exposed seat post, which I would guess make the ride a bit more comfortable.
