Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023
I sincerely hope for your sake that you aren't so pathetic and passive aggressive in your actual life. Chances are you are just as pathetic and defeated, though. Pretty common among kids these days.

I hope you see the irony in this. One guy says he bought the frame, I said that's good and you short your fuse. Bro you need some serious help.
Anyway I am taking your advice and moving on (from your comments at least).

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023 I'm not going to delete or moderate anything, I just want to ask you all to please try and keep it respectful. Feel free to disagree with each other but leave the name-calling out of it, we don't want that type of discourse here.

Re: TanTan FM202 Og-evkin QONQI VeloBuild VR066 Still riding my 2018 vintage CF-025 rim brake frame.  Fits Conti GP5000 28 width tires on 19mm IW rims just fine.

Re: TanTan FM202 Og-evkin QONQI VeloBuild VR066
I'd stay away from og-evkin if you value any degree of after sales service.

Just because they share dimensions/mold, doesn't mean they're necessarily from the same factory.

So which seller or brand of the three offers you the best guarantee, or gives you the most confidence?

Re: TanTan FM202 Og-evkin QONQI VeloBuild VR066
Have you looked into Speeder, Lightcarbon or Yishun? These three manufacturers give me confidence.

The idea is to look for something similar in geometry to the new Canyon Endurace, and with a classic frame cut.....the truth is I didn't find much more than these three brands...

Re: TanTan TT-X38 Build
I think you are absolutely insane to be riding that fork. Scary.

I respect your opinion. I’ll report back here regularly if I’m still alive.

Re: Elves Falath EVO 2023 I consider myself now as an expert in DT Swiss hub design  ;D  :P

The ELVES front hub is basically a copy of the DT Swiss 350 road straightpull and the back hub a DT Swiss 240.

On my front hub copy the bearings were not properly pressed in, therefore they had too much clearance or in other words the preload on the bearings was too low. So I pressed them in and since then they are rock solid and smooth.

And I cranked up the axle torque to 12Nm.

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame Got my 268 frame last week before going out of town and just started working on it last night. Didn't plan on drilling a drain hole in the BB but after taking the BB out of my 177 it was clear that I needed one. Checked with VB just to be sure it would be ok and then confirmed it was. Drilled a small hole into the frame and carrying on with the build.
