I'm trying to convince my father that he needs to replace is 20+ year old Pro-Flex for a modern bike. He doesn't want to spend the kind of money that a new Main Stream bike is, frankly I'm not sure he wants to spend what a China bike would cost, but I'm trying to convince him. As you know I already built up a full rigid 057, so I'm no stranger to the Carbon build a bike deal, but I did a TON of research before that frame choice, but now I just don't have the time to do that much web surfing soooo...
I'm hoping the community can help narrow some choices down. In this thread I'm hoping to get info on 27.5 Full Squish Frame options, I'm going to repost in regular 27.5+ for those options also.
I have found the CS-156 http://xmcarbonspeed.com/Productinfo.asp?f=1338, which looks similar to the Scott Spark, but the Geometry is half way between the Spark and a Santa Cruz 5010
What are other options in the short/mid travel variety? IE. 120mm, max about 130mm.

Adding to my own search. Some options, but have no info..

I think you have found about all the options for a FS 27.5 Carbon Frame. I kind of like the looks of the WCB-M-017, that frame is also available from Workwell/Sabato (http://www.workswellbikes.com/web/view/48.html) on eBay or direct.

Is there any info about these frames? The Workswell looks good, but I don't like the Head Angle, 70 is is so 5 years ago!

Sometimes you can find a spec drawing online of a frame if you Google the frame model number, otherwise you need to contact the seller and ask for a spec drawing. I know what you mean about the 70 deg HTA, I prefer about 68.5 these days. However, you can lose about a degree, for every 20mm or so of fork length. So maybe go with 130mm fork and that should help push the effective HTA out a bit.

Waking this old thread up. I'm also consider a FS Carbon 27.5-frame for my XC Race. Only 100mm travel today, and could easy rebuild my Reba to 120mm. But that's it. I don't need more.
Have also checked out the CS-156, but have no idea what they cost?
