RideNow TPU Just got the RideNow TPU inner tubes and a patch kit. They are light and very thin.  They have 65mm plastic stem.  Most debate has been over tpu use on rim brake wheels.  RideNow user manual refers to minimum tire size, thermal warnings, and safe use for rim brakes.
The manual suggests to lower tire pressure as air and tarmac temps get high from morning to afternoon. They also ask that you lower pressure 20psi before long descents. They also ask you to take breaks on decents.

I bought them for my disc brake wheels so not really concerned. I also will be using as a spare on my road rides even for my rim wheels. There is so much saving you could be extra cautious and take 2 ridenow spares and still be half the storage needed as a latex or butyl tube.

My latex 156g + butyl spare 100=256g
RideNow  3x34g = 102g
Saving 154g

I'm watching for issues that have scared me away from TPUs in the past.  Hard to find leaks. Hard to patch or patch later failing.  Leaking around valve.  I'm being extra careful attaching the pump to the valve. I don't want the plastic stem to stretch and oval out.

Re: BTLOS Wheels Glad you posted your wheels on bike.  Makes so much more sense now why you wanted orange logos.

Re: Elite Wheel DRIVE 1,280 gram wheelset - Disc, 45mm Absolutely love these wheels. Thank you sigma.  I've gone out for 5 50 mile rides. I used them in 20+mph winds, flats, rolling hills, and a few steep climbs. These wheels are evil. Fast on flats and you still got a weapon to fly up. I think it was my 3rd ride before I finally got to hear the wheels cause of winds.

I've set pr on both flat and climbing segments every single day i went out. I've taken 1 kom on a 2-3 mile segment that I tried to get. I tried to kom a 9% climb today but had ghost shifting so stopped. I didn't want to blow my chain as it bounced between teeth.

Dis/Mounting gp5000 28mm are super easy. I don't need a tool to mount. Removing just need to pop then center beads and slide tool. I'm using the ridenow tpu tubes.  I'd think doing tubeless would be fine if you had to do a serious roadside fix and remove the bead. Really think the 21mm internal really makes a difference over 19mm.

Re: Fovno Crank sets The bmx guys beat up their titanium cranks. They were having failures with the two piece bonding and teeth shearing holding the crank arm to the axles. They were trying to get costs lower by not welding the ti arms to the axles.

I honestly am shocked we don't hear road/MTB guys shearing cranks with aluminum. I have the highest possible cranks to fail and so far they're doing fine.

Re: 54/36 chainring on 105 R7000 crank arm Fouriers at one point had 54-42 and 55-42. Couldn't find anyone on aliexpress with them in stock.

Re: Xoss/iGPSport, other computer companies? Intelligent brake detection
BRight Strobe if a car is approaching too fast
Auto on off if you aren't moving after 5 mins.

Preorder Jd.com June 13th.

They say it works with devices that use traffic detection but only should megene products. So someone needs to ask if garmin wahoo hammerhead bryton igsports will work. Or be the first to buy and gamble.

Re: Yoeleo G21 - Yoeleo's New Gravel Frameset Sorry, about your friends. I rolled through the weeds there.  I was shocked how huge the stones were. Being at the bottom of a descent with tons of riders early didn't give much time to react.

I've always had issues with my current cx frame. Why I'm trying to figure out a replacement gravel frame. I do like the huge tire clearance on the g21 but not sure I'll use it. I ran the blue 38mm gk ss for 10x. If I did wet gravel rides I'd be happy to jump on the g21 for all the clearance not to cut up the stays.

Re: Tideace FM-CR060 New Mold Gravel Frame 700*47C I ordered up this frame in 49cm with 400x100.  Been dealing with Eddy. Here are a couple frames painted up. One is mine. I still plan to add more colors once I get the frame.

Looks like the drops on my frame are flared out like other gravel bike bars.  At least I'm hoping they are. Maybe it's just camera angle fooling me. The bars on the dark blue frame look like standard road bars.

Re: My experience with Velobuild wheels and requesting after sales support. Interesting I saw this video show up on YouTube. I'd say rim failed due to heat from braking in this guys case. You can hear gunshot sound then thumbing. The thumbing is the brakes going over the blown carbon wheel. No car accident and just 100m of travel to a safe stop.

Your bike is disc brake but this video seems very similar.

Re: Tideace FM-CR060 New Mold Gravel Frame 700*47C Got the frame today. The frame arrived after about 10 days with painting.  I did a quick mock up to see if there was any issues.  Took bunch of pictures hopefully I can get them on the site.  Bars are measured from the drops not the with of the hoods.  I ordered the smallest size 500x100 bars. The hood mount distance come to about 44-46 wide. So you really need to setup the hoods angled inward. Handlebars have an aluminum sleeve.  Should really take this into consideration may want the standard road bars.  Rear brake caliper barely fits setup as 140 with the br002 model.  Fork spacers are plastic. Paint look awesome to me. The finish for the bearing mounts looks good. Fork looks good around the cable feed. All accessories came and a tideance bottom bracket guard that I can be stick on.

Frame 1266
Fork 446
handlebars 406
seatpost 208

I expect the bike to come in at about 19lbs with sensah.
Probably 19.5lbs with my shimano r685 shifters and ultegra rx rear. These weight setups are as my full gravel.

Think in road setup about 17.1.
