Re: Syncros Fraser iC SL / Scott Spark 900 handelbar 90$ instead of 399$
I wonder if Carbonda will sell their handlebar as seen on the FM909 without the frame.

Does it not look like flybike hb156?

Lightweight endurance road frame Hi

Not been riding road bikes for some years but fingers are itching to build a road bike to put some miles on.
Maybe something similar to Canyon Endurance CF but carbon frame direct sales from china :)

Looking for suggestions for lightweight endurance road carbon frames. (at the moment not interested in an aero/tt-frame)
Good quality product, low weight and trustworthy seller are prioritized, low price is of course a bonus.

Thanks!

Re: Lexon or Carbonda (or....)
I'm an extremely happy rider of an FM936, some bias is possible 8)
The Lexon looks to be heavier.

Agree! But I'm also biased. Mad love for my FM936.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame
Question....I am going to build a 218 and use SRAM Rival etap.  Someone stated that the DUB BB is not recommended per VB, is that correct?  I will reach out to VB.

Maybe due to BSA bottom bracket.
BSA is mostly for 24mm crank axle standard. Using a DUB crank with 30mm axle will result in tiny balls in the bearing and will most likely wear out and have a shorter than normal life span.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-218 I added the geo for all sizes to BikeInsight so you can compare geo with other bikes and get a graphic view of the differences.

Re: Velobuild GF-002

Thanks! I'm using a Wheels Manufacturing internally threaded pressfit BB. Haven't thought much about the logic of the statement above in truth, just passed on what VB mentioned. May switch out the BB instead of replacing the bearings and can report back if it makes a difference.

Hi

Did you solve the issue with 34/50 crankset rubbing?

Re: Velobuild VB-R-066 Rim brake (not dead yet?)
So I’ve finally got mine together. Thanks very much for your tips and progress updates, the 28s fitted comfortably, so I see no issues with 30s at all.

One thing I underestimated was how low the stack was for my fit, I’ve had to put about 55mm of spacers underneath the stem, should I be good with this?…. there doesn’t seem to be any documentation around max recommended.

Very happy with the bike though, did a quick spin around the block and hanging together well… only had one minor quality issue which was one of the frame fittings not sitting flush , but in terms of ride quality, feels really responsive. I now have the confidence to go for the disc version

Recommendations are no more than 30-40mm spacers below the stem. For carbon fork and steerer I personally would not go with more than 30mm just to be sure.

The VBR066 is an endurance oriented frame with shorter reach and higher stack compared to race/aero oriented frames. If the right size for you the VBR066 should offer comfortable fit without 55mm spacers.

How tall are you and what inseam measurement do you have? Which frame size did you order? What stem length do you have?
Can you attach a photo of the bike taken from the side so we can see it's set up?

Elves Falath Pro Disc / SP-Cycle SP-R08 / Miracle CR028 / Winow FM238 Looking at size 59, the geo is the same between all of them. Are these all the same?
How's your experience with Elves/SP-cycle/Miracle/Winow? Quality differences between them?
I've requested quotes to compare prices, will update later on.
