I got my T1550 during the black Friday sale so it was maybe around $1300 I cant remember. But either way I do not think I would ever spend over $1500 USD on a Chinese frame normally. The idea is that we get a lower price, but have the risk of little to no customer service/ warranty. These bikes over $1750 are pushing that current arrangement

I don't understand why the range on the RD is so small. The latest Shimano 12 speed rear mechs all go to 36.

Good question! Mainly geometry, reputation (Mira / Miracle have been around a long time) and... I always like to try something different. We already have a Carbonda in the house (my son's bike) and I've previously had an Airwolf. Both were great, but I wanted to try something else. I am also impatient, and other brands' similar frames were not in stock at the time. The final thing for me was the very good communication over WhatsApp.

Agreed. At the moment it's not an issue because I'm running Shimano, but the option would be nice.

Oh man! At this point, you should get honorary membership for their QA team.

On my last ride, I also seemed to have sudden shift when hitting small potholes. I thought it was one time thing, but then it happened quite a few more times. This was on my second eR9 set. I will keep monitoring this and raise concerns it keeps happening.

Can she go to a bike shop and try a road bike or two? That would take out a lot of guesswork. Cable integration and one piece cockpit are the enemies of an uncertain bike fit, too... And a gf in an uncomfortable position is an unhappy gf. Unhappy gfs are fire breathing dragons. Dragons are scary. Like snakes, but bigger and with fire.

Yet another problem with my er9. So, 2 RD died for no reason, that's being sorted.

Yes, the brake calipers use BH59 and mineral oil same as shimano, you can use them with shimano shifters
The battery, derailleurs and shifters however you can't reuse, they are a package deal

After ride number 5 where the shifters stopped working, I have finally reached the point of permanently moving forward. Is there a way to use parts (such as the breaking calipers) in a shimano groupset?
