They use BH59.  Both the olive and barb are brass colored.

Only the internal diameter is different. They use the same olive. Different barb. Use bh90 for a supposed slight performance increase.

Which ones and whats wrong?

Thanks for the replies all. Since I wanted tubeless and these are probably not that, I went ahead with tried and tested Panaracer GKs from a bike store that's closing down. I will eventually order the 40c and put them on a reserve rim set.

Yes 25c and 28c are both 350g/tire per the description. Never weighed my other road tires but that does seem heavy.

Out of topic since I could not find any shipping specific thread - what does "Shipping Partner: A C I" mean on USPS tracking. is that Ali-Ex shipping company? Parts worth $250 are stuck somewhere in California. The app every day shows 7 notifications saying there is an update on your combined package delivery and when I check the tracking page no updates at all. USPS says they are still waiting for that item to come into their possession. This is going on for past 16 days and I am losing it. It will be now more than 1.5 months since date of ordering. Curiously, other small parts ordered on same date have arrived 2 weeks ago. I noticed whenever AX combines multiple orders into one, this frustrating sluggishness happens.

Possibly a scam with falsified tracking, though perhaps it really has been lost. Raise a dispute asap. I had an order recently that tracked as arrived "in 3 days" but nothing actually had shipped. Ali even has a preselected reason of "shipping shows as delivered but nothing has been received". I'd put money on the seller proposing to give you a partial refund if you do. It's part of the grift. The item was around 30% cheaper that any other seller had it, and it had free shipping with DHL/USPS. I've seen a few similar listings since, the stores are usually fairly new with little to no feedback.

I don't trust anything that isn't shipped with standard ali shipping/Sinagpore post/Cainiao tracked etc anymore.

How much of that failure is down to the bleed/cheap pads/oil and how much is down to design and materials? Could they be rescued and made reliable by bleeding them with proper oil and swapping in some decent pads?

How long does the battery last?

Update on those ztto chonkers. They're working well (ok bar some noise issues with the rear but it's not the rotors fault i don't think). The front feels like it'll happily throw me over the bars in any situation if i want it to.

Only complaint is perhaps they don't need to have such a wide brake track and could save some weight here as you can see from the wear there's about 4mm that isn't used. But then again i'm not using them with the brakes they're intended for.

Anyone have suggestions for any other 2mm or more six bolt rotors? May have to replace the rear and wouldn't mind finding something lighter as these are 255g each.

How did these work out for you?

Any new recommendations from anyone for center lock or 6 bolts rotors? Looking to get some for a new wheelset and replace the Deckas I have on there now

I didn't end up using them as i decided i wanted thicker rotors. They did make a good impression, looked to be well made and i'd buy them again. Measured as described at around 1.9mm thick.  If i was to order standard thickness rotors again they'd be my first choice at the moment.

I installed these instead https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004913085313.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.15.136018027PawHV

Have had one short ride and i don't think they're bedded in yet. They're absolute chonkers. Quite heavy. Measured with two callipers at around 2.17-2.2 which i was slightly annoyed by so i found another set and they measured at 2.3....

They definitely offer modulation. My experience with TRP HY/RD has been fantastic. The modulation may be not as good as full hydro types but they do feel much better than Spyre and Aries (Tektro) that I have on other bikes. The Zrace/Onirii cable hydros are very very close to HY/RDs too. Don’t have many miles yet but their bite is improving day by day. It’s taking surprisingly long for them to sit.

Which Zrace/Onirii are you referring to?

I read a review on the the Growtacs that said they have no modulation, and that all cable actuated brakes are the same. I wouldn't know having never used cable actuated disc brakes. Are hybrids the same?

Keen to hear how they are.

I just ordered some disc brake hydraulic hose service parts. I need to cut down one of the lines on the IIIPRO E4 Mountain Bike Brakes I purchased a month ago.  Until now, I have never had to cut down the hose length of a hydraulic line.

I have that muqzi needle insertion device. It works well but is probably over kill given most people do that operation using those cheap plastic blocks either side of the line and tapping the barb in with a mallet.

The cable cutter is bullshit and is hard and finicky to get a straight cut with, which is annoying as you want a straight cut to sit flush against the end of the barb. If i bought tools for this again i'd look for a proper hydro hose cutter form park or at least the Chinese equivalent.

Also have the full ezmtb bleed kit, which has been good so far.

I had an X-Tiger set when i briefly did some road riding. Was fine. Only road kit i've tried though.

Anyone have suggestions for mtb gear?

Anyone have a suggestion for IS and PM adapters? I bought some ztto branded versions but they're soft and heavy. Stripped the threads out of one today doing nothing more than would be reasonable when tightening a brake bolt.

Only a few mtb cranks I've seen on ali that use a 24mm steel axle. Can't find any road or gravel steel axles, but most have moved to larger diameter alloy axles. I'd still prefer steel.

Are there any Ali mtb cranks you'd recommend?

Definitely!

Ah.. i read somewhere the 10 speed HG95 only comes with a pin. I got a refund anyway and will use the chain with while keeping a sharp eye on it and the rest of the drive train. Hopefully if it is fake it doesn't wreck anything.

Will be buying PYC chains from Ali for the next we while. They're about half the price of anything else local to me.
