Thanks for the input.  I just need somebody from the US to give their input.  I know Pres. Trump has put tariffs on raw materials, so hopefully this does not effect any goods coming into the country.

I just ordered the trident thrust.  I’ll let you know how it turns out.  That tideace is a nice frame, but in the end the geometry seemed a bit off to me.  I’m riding a 15.5” trek superbly and it’s just slightly cramped.  The thrust TT length is just a bit longer and can get in a BSA BB.  Appreciate your thoughts!

Has anybody ordered and recieved your frame recently?  I was just wondering with all the tariffs or import taxes have caused any issues.  I bought a couple frames a fewyears ago and had no issues and dont recall paying a dime.  It worries me now seeing things written on the website about buyer being responsible.  It seems as if there is more mention of it then ever before.  Im ordering a frame from Trident Thrust.  The last frames were from Deng Fu.  Thanks.

To be honest, i'm not so sure how the slack head angle is gonna affect my handling.  Trident Thrust has a head angle of 70*, is it really that bad? The Tideace is also a 70* head angle from their geometry.  Is it really that bad?  I'm a pretty seasoned racer, but over the last few years i haven't done a whole lot of racing.  I would consider my handling skills pretty good.  I race as a CAT 1 and haven't really worried about head angle in my past builds.  I didn't like the Tideace because I wanted to go with a BSA bb standard.

By the way, I'm old school, started racing in the 90's until mid 2000's.  I like just traditional looking hardtails, simple looking.  I don't even care for fulls suspension or really the 29r platform.  That is why I went the 27.5 route when getting back into mt. biking.  I'm probably gonna order two frames, a 27.5 and a 29r.  That Trident Thrust seems to fit my needs and the geometry seems to fit my needs.  I've always raced a smaller frame to throw around and handle around the tight technical singletrack, but racing nowadays seem to be getting away from that with more fire roads and doubletrack, hence the reason I may go with a 29r frame as well.  I'm not a big fan of the funky top tube on the frame you linked.

Hi, I've gone through a few carbon road and cross frames, but now am looking for a mtb frame.  I currently ride a 2015 Trek Superfly 27.5 in 15.5" frame.  I'm about 5'6" or 168cm's tall and have always liked a smaller frame that I can toss around on the tight singletrack trails, but races have now gone to more open fireroad or doubletrack.  I've been looking to size up as I've been feeling a bit cramped.  As the subject states, what the current best frame in the chinese carbon market?  I was looking at a Workswell last year(i forgot the model, but got good reviews).  I did notice a model from ICAN model XT275.  Can anyone give me some reviews or suggestions?  Thanks.

The head angle of 71.5° would be a no go for me. My favourite chiner frame is a Tideace FM-M009. Have a look on aliexpress.

So not sure how exactly that would affect me.  I'm making the move to 29'er from a 27.5" which I love because I love how it handles and how I can kick it around on really technical trails.  My main priority is racing.  29er's have always felt slow and sluggish to me.  How will that 1/2 degree really affect me.  Wouldn't I be better off with the 71.5 vs. the 70?

Does anybody have a review or experience with this frame from Dengfu?  I'm looking into the WCB-M-062 and have read good reviews, but have also seen this frame and am looking to purchase a road frame and mt. bike frame.  The place I'm looking at getting it only has the road frame I want, but has the M02 frame that looks similar to the WCB-M-062.

I'm about to pull the trigger on this frame, but not sure on which size to go with.  I'm 5.5 1/2" or almost 5.6"(67cm), inseam of around 31".  If you're around my height which size did you go with?  I've always liked a smaller framed bike to throw around, but just don't know if the 15.5 is too small.  I have a Trek Superfly in a 27.5" and have the 15.5", but it's pretty maxed out seatpostwise and not sure I could get much more out of it.  I feel just a slight bit cramped on it, but the next size up just seemed way too big.

I forgot to mention. If you're Cat 1, you should be on a team, and should get a team deal. That would put you on a brand frame for less. Given a good price I would always go for a brand frame.

I'm on a road and cross team and even the deals we get through a bikeshop are more then I want to spend.  I have since turned my focus on xc skiing so dabbling in a mt. Bike race every now and then is my purpose.

I'm looking into this frame.  Apparently it's a Specialized Stumpjumper clone.  Can anybody tell me how this rides and handles.  I plan to use it for xc racing.  I'm a CAT 1 with a Trek Superfly currently in a 27.5", but looking to get into a 29er.  I've seen one video on youtube where the guy complains about the rear end being flexy.  Any input appreciated.  If there's anything else comparable to this frame then please let me know that too.  Thanks.
