I stumbled across the Ican P13 https://www.icanbikes.com/product/ican-27-5er-plus-trail-frame-p13/

I was wondering if anybody has gotten it yet?

Keep us updated on the shock :)

From the Sciu and Quest sites. They listed X2 and rockshox deluxe ultimate as shock options.

It'll be great news if it works out for you.

Does anybody know where i can get a stronger derailleur hanger for this frame? The one that is supplied with is a bit soft. Ive had to straighten it a couple of times already.

I think you might be right or I might be remembering their older or original design, I could have sworn it wasn't solid.

It actually looks more like the Deviate highlander

I'm 5'7", using a 125mm dropper. I'm not one of those that require the post to be flushed with the seat collar, as long as my butt can get out of the way, it's good enough.

**edit

Just to add that, the dropper does stick out from the seat collar a bit but so far I have not had any issues with the cabling or actuation.

So it really depends if you're ok with that kind of setup, I also use it to indicate if I'm too low or too far back behind the saddle. With a long travel 29er it's just too easy for me to buzz my butt on the tyres.

Nicely done, yep with this rig I fine that either you need  4 pot brakes or bigger rotors - 203mm at least. So my current solution is 180mm front rotor and 203mm rear rotor.

I think it should be more playful at that configuration. Currently The bike that I built is set at 159/170mm, it feels plush, like riding on a magic carpet.

After riding a few times, so far, I think getting the 170mm lyrik was the right decision. with the 40mm stem set low, it lifts up the bb enough so I don’t get pedal strikes and I have enough weight on the front to keep the front wheel down during climbs. It feels stable during descent but that’s about it,  not enough time to do anything else since the trails got flooded in some sections and there’s a section where the landslide made it impossible to pass - I do know that I probably need to add volume spacers in the rear shock coz the shock was bought used from a guy who took it off from his evil following. Right now it feels too planted/linear.
