Title: Suspension 29", which frame?
Post by: Tornado on June 27, 2016, 04:09:46 PM
Want a light XC frame, 036 is to heavy. Is there any other good alternative?
Have anybody tried CFM035 from carbonbikekits? http://www.carbonbikekits.com/frames/CFM035_29er_MTB_Full_Carbon_Suspension_Frame-en.html

Tornado, You might want to email Peter about the CS-098. It's another FS 29er frame that he offers. I have the geometry and some images I can send you if you'd like. I was considering it because it looks like it'll be more of an Enduro bike with the room for larger suspension, but I already bought components that fit the 036. Otherwise if you do a little searching through MTBR forums you'll find a TitanX frame or something? I can't remember the exact name. Generally there were about 3 FS 29er frames that I found offered. (Unfortunately none with a vertical shock mount :'( )

I bought Titan 29SL, and not the "X-model" from Carbonal, that's the XC version. I hope it will be good, 10-days to shipping :)
Anyone else who has this frame?

That Titan 29SL looks well, but 19'' size is the largest.

Are there any relatively light 29'' full suspension frames available in XL?
