I have a DT swiss OPM OLD 120mm (not the race one) and it's a great fork (the best I ever had in fact) but the 200h service can't be done at home and cost a lot.

Posting your problem in all the threads about the FM058 won't solve it you know?

The CS-S065 has a steep 69 degree head angle, a long chainstay and a short reach. It's like a longuer travel version of the 036 with a vertical shock.

So you went tubeless if I understand well? Can you give us a little report about how you like it and also about the black prince brake pads please?

Thank you!

Keep the information comming! :)

There are also many posts on the forum about those 2 frames and shock options to increase/decrease rear travel. You can also rum them with 29er wheels.

Did you check the ICAN P8 and P9?

Wow! Did the derailleur hit something or the cage just failed by itself?

I think the problem is the fear that the caliper will move slightly with the flex in the seatstay and change its position relatively to the rear disc.

I'm using a set of FarSport carbon wheels since 2013 and not a single problem with them. I use SwissStop Yellow King brake pads with them. They are also as true as when I got them new. Never had to touch the spoke tension. I went with the Ed Hubs and ceramic bearings. I just wish I went with the 38mm profile instead of the 24mm.

If you're on a budget, you can go with the ChainReactionCycle Brand-X Ascend dropper. If you're ready to put a little bit more money, you can get the Marzocchi Transfer post. This is the exact same post as the Fox Transfer Performance post but for a lot less money (Fox owns Marzocchi). This is the move I've done last fall.

https://www.bike-components.de/fr/Marzocchi/Transfer-Intern-Performance-Elite-125-mm-Sattelstuetze-Modell-2017-p61669/

For the stem, Kalloy Uno 7 stems from Ebay are the best bang for $. And they are also light and strong. Something in the range of 50mm or 60mm.

My choice for handlebar is MTZoom. You can buy them at xcracer.com and I would get a 760mm unless you're really small.

For the seat, you clearly need to find one that your but likes. It's so personnal that it's hard to suggest anything. WTB Silverado and Volt are what works best for me but lots of people don't like them.

Tires are also personnal. Your location and riding style will dictate what you want. But for trail riding, you can look for those:
-Maxxis Chronicle (XC/Trail)
-Maxxis Ikon+ (XC/Trail)
-Maxxis Rekon+  (Trail/All mountain)
-Maxxis DHF Plus (All mountain/Down Hill)
-Maxxis DHR II Plus (All mountain/Down Hill)
-Schwalbe nobby nic  (Trail/All mountain)
-Schwalbe Rocket Ron (XC/Trail)

Hope this help a bit.

Good luck! :)

I know this is a little off topic, but has anyone tried carbon cranks from Aliexpress? Most cost as much as regular XT cranks and are specified to be ~300g lighter. Most people here seem to buy cranks from name brands ... is this because they're more trustworthy or were there major bad experiences with Aliexpress cranks?

I think it was on MTBR forum, a weight weenie guy tried the chinese carbon crank with 104 BCD spider and broke it in no time where the bolts are holding the chainring. I would definitly go with a direct mount chainring option if I was trying those cranksets.

Yes, use Paypal. Paypal fees are your only insurance in case something goes wrong. Not that I don't trust Ican but Moore's law is everywhere in this world! ;)

In your opinions would this be comparable/compatible?

All the parts will fit with your frame.
