also a fan of these bibs from Rion https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832726343269.html

Bought a couple recently, and quite impressed with them.  I'll be getting more.

Anyone know if there is an aliexpress equivalent of the Specialized swat bottle cage and tool holder?

The M10x54 is not a bushing. That is the width and thread on the top of your shock. A grunion mount only has the lower bushing and the top threads into the shock body directly.  The frame should come with the two m10 bolts and the bearing will be in the frame.  Just put your shock in and bolt it up.  This has one hole visible and then another on the other side.  Notice there is no bushing eyelet on the top of the shock. https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.dY1lJcDRK4CSVubdjO33UQHaFj?rs=1&pid=ImgDetMain

Thanks for confirming.  This is my first MTB build!

from their product page:
165*45mm trunnion mount-120mm rear travel
(hardware upper M8*22.2mm, bottom M10*54mm)
165*38mm standard mount-100mm rear travel
(hardware upper M8*22.2mm, bottom M8*22.2mm)

So i have the 919 frame on the way and bought a 165x45mm trunnion shock for it, and looking for the bushings for it.  I can't seem to find M10*54mm on Aliexpress.  Is it an uncommon standard?

I need to get a pressfit BB92, would there be any specific brand that people recommend or had experience with?  ZTTO, ZRACE, Goldix, etc.. so many options!

Thank you for your leave messages.

One small suggestion, is to improve your website.  Simple breakdown of wheelset specs, cost, weight, etc..  its very hard to navigate and compare all the options.

Well ive paid for my set, hopefully will have a positive review too :)
Good choice I think, sometimes paying for a bit extra even from China is worth it.

Btw  what did you get ? how much?

I have a 919 frame on the way, so looking at 29er wheels set as well!

Component Deals & Selection / Re: MTB Cranks - Suggestions?
« on: December 15, 2023, 05:24:42 AM »
I ordered a SENICX MTB Mountain Bike Crankset, 165mm with a Dub spindle on the 11.11 sales.

I haven't received it, but if it performs like my Senicx PR2 crankset I've had on my gravel bike for nearly 3000 miles this year then I'll be happy with the purchase.

EDIT --  I received the cranks and installed them.   Finishing and quality seems just as high as my PR2 crankset.  They dropped right in on the bike and when I push on them the bike moves.

are these boost 3mm offset compatible?

I can attest I have a set of AM733 Carbon wheels from LightCycle for 6 years now and no issues whatsoever

There is a good thread on the 918.  I have the UDH version and so far I love it.  I wish it did not have the cables through the head tube as that is a pain in the butt and serves no real purpose or provides no benefit.  But it is what it is.  I am tempted to just make my own holes in the frame.  Other than that it is great.  I have built up 4 frames and all of them are running great.

Sorry I meant 919.  I've updated my original post.

I am informed it is now called 919 with UDH and larger headtube 1 1/2in straight headtube.
Pondering whether to get this one or 918.  I do like two bottle cages in the 918, but this one can officially support 130mm/120mm travel which I also prefer
Anyone tried this new 919 model yet?

Undecided between this and the 917 (aka 919).  I like the idea of two bottle cages.   I want to use parts from a donor bike and hoping to transfer across.
Do you think this can run a 130mm fork and a 120mm shock?
Also will a SRAM NX X Sync ring with 30T boost 3mm offset work with this BB (sorry I am noob with this)
