I second the foakleys! I have 2 pair and the same seller had 100% glasses that all have been great. Also took my pair into a shop and they couldn't belive the quality.

does anyone know if it is okay to leave the finish as raw carbon or do I need to put at least a clear coat over it for UV protection? You will want to some type of clear coat over the carbon to protect the resin from degrading May 30, 2021, 11:15:40 PM |

There are still layers of paint and clear coat with a matte finish. It's hard to tell how deeps it's gone but from the pic I'm assuming it's just chipped off the paint. although it does looks like there's a deeper scratch there within the chipped area. The bb area has extra reinforcement because it needs to withstand the strength of your pedal stroke while seated and standing. That said i agree with nick, spray some clear o protect from UV and keep checking it to see if it gets worse. Although, it would probably be a better idea to have a shop check it to have some peace of mind while sprinting or on high speed descents . June 01, 2021, 12:43:49 PM |

Light Carbon LCES004 E Bike Build
Got this framing coming to build an emtb for my dad trying to get the parts together before the frame get here. link to frame https://www.lightcarbon.com/new-lightcarbon-enduro-full-suspension-ebike-frameset-designing-for-bafang-motor_p150.html 185*55mm trunnion mount rear shock will a X-Fusion O2 Pro RLX work with this frame? . a buddy has one he took off a scott genius that he was willing to give me there is also a FOX NUDE EVOL off a 2021 scott genius that i found at a good price if that will work too? both have the same eye to eye length and stroke. im asking because i noticed that a fox float that came off a trek wouldnt fit because the width at the trunnion mount was about 14mm smaller and wasnt sure if it would be the same for the ones coming off the scott genius as i couldnt find the info online thanks in advance for any help! Frame came in today. Looks really good. It was very nice dealing with Carol from light carbon and shipping was super fast. Got the frame in California in a little over a week. Ordered may 25th, and it was shipped May 29.

Just waiting on the motor and battery to come in to start putting it all together. It's actually scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. so I'll have the build done this week and post pics as I progress
