Couple of concerns and annoyances.  Spare parts, battery replacements, hoods are not available.  Every time you want to connect to check battery life or make changes to the group, you have to wake the system with the charging cable plugged into a power source.  There is no external wake feature.

Not my experience.  Group indeed needs to be woken up if you weren't using it either from movement or through the shifter buttons afterwhich you can connect your app to make adjustments.  No need to have charge cable attached and plugged into power source.

Hi everyone,
After much reading here and various YT channels about Elite Wheels, I reached out to Leon, and after going through various options, purchased the 45mm YAR45-01.
This is 18.5/28.0 inner/outer width, Shimano centrelock and RD13 hubs, Pillar Wing20 spokes.
USD430 + USD80 shipping to Australia.

After a few 100 kms, they're perfect for a Giant Defy endurance bike.  They almost make climbing fun, very responsive.

Thank you to Leon for a great wheelset at a great price.

Winspace being open mold was better hidden for a while. I would expect adapt don't sell d2c from how barebones their website and range of offerings on it is, so they've never attempted to make themselves known to the public.

Very fair point about the current pricing of both Winspace and Tavelo. But if they are both in fact sourced by Adapt, it's a shame we don't see more bike builds and conversations on their frames on this forum. Especially if we are to assume the quality/fit finish is nearly the same if true.

The question becomes:
1. Does Adapt not (easily) offer up B2C sales?
2. Are people generally just not interested in their frames?

If it's the latter then it's odd to use the Winspace open-mold talking point if people just aren't interested in Adapt's offerings to begin with.

The price is extremely disappointing, and I would even start to argue against the spirit of this forum. I think many people on this forum want high-quality carbon frames for less than mainstream brands and at that price point you might as well buy a specialIzed Or a giant or a Trek

No toe overlap at all ;) . With the flyxii FE02 I used to have it, but with this one zero toe overlap.

@Pat, which expander did you put in yours? I am curious since you did not report slippage at that point.

Neco Headset Expander - Size/length Large.

I never ever use the provided expander plug on any budget frameset.
