Finished Yishun R086-D build yesterday. First impression from riding indoors is very very good.
Bought 52cm frame directly in Germany for 800 EUR, one of their last 2 (as they said) they sell as single pieces. Afterwards, they go to minium 10 frames order.
I will update the post with pics when I get a chance of better weather to ride outside.

T1500/T1550 I can recommend, very happy after 10k km in a year with it. The build however, comes closer to the original Merida Reacto.
I would go the same route, if you like to choose your own components or have fun building bikes.

Avoid Ican.
I had a problem with it, see the thread:

Dear Leo, if you would be able to provide wider rim, like 29-30mm wide with 21-22 internal width, I am sold.
Right now this is my choice:
https://eu.huntbikewheels.com/collections/road-cx-disc-brake-wheels/products/hunt-44-aerodynamicist-carbon-disc-wheelset
Depth 45-50-55 for different audiences.
With that you can cater "casual racers", "aero gravel racers" or even hill climbers which value some aero advantage.
No old standards even for cheap please.

I bought the frameset used. How to get, which I have? Sorry for the newbie question

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Winspace T1500 saddle clamp
« on: March 05, 2024, 05:38:02 AM »
Does anyone know, will 7x9mm rails (typical for most of carbon saddles) fit ?
Winspace T1500 has side clamp, not top-bottom one.
I am a bit concerned about safety because of possible wrong clamp.

How to get such a price? What I see now, they are around 700 on ali...
I snagged this wheelset for a whooping 444€ including "tax-prepaid" shipping to Germany, in the 50mm variant, 21mm internal, but I asked for no decals.

I am now debating on which tire width to get. I will get a GP5000 non TL (with 19g TPU tubes), but the question is wether to get 25mm vs 28mm.

I have always had 25mm GP5000 tires and they measure about 28mm on my current wheels with 20.5mm internal width.

Has anyone tried GP5000 in 28 mm on these rims? How is the tire-rim interface? I always hear about the comfort (which I don't need probably), but I fear that they would bulge up on the 21mm internal rims and be even wider than the rim, "ruining" the aero benefits...

I have spare FSA N69 for sale, as I went with a custom solution:

My Alu frame is Radon R1, seatpost, wheels are all from aluminum and tires are 25 mm.
At winspace I have 28mm tires and carbon wheels.
So, it may be quite subjective to separate frame feeling from the whole system, but yes, I do feel aluminum has more direct and harsh feeling.

Plus from me for the previous poster about Elves, Winspace, Yoleo and possibly Velobuild.
I had negative experiences with ICAN, but got the money back.
Have build a bike with Winspace T1500 and can not be more happy. I have choosen every single component I wanted, everything is personalized and customized for my wishes. Total cost is 4k Euros.
Although, I can afford myself to buy a 2 or 3 Madons, I am not doing so.
So, just think that you can have same or even better performance and have plenty of cash left.

Had a training session today: 52km and 1000m altitude change, 3 middle-sized climbs in total.
What to say: it is really a stunning bike, it has exceeded my expectation in every moment.
I could replicate my position from the previous bike.
1. Cornering and descends in general were a breeze. Never felt so confident on any bike, and it was only the 1st training with it.
2. Climbing: also very good, it is lighter about 1 kg from my previous bike.
3. Power transfer - this is where the bike shines. I could directly feel the power transfer, bike is on the stiffer side, not as stiff as aluminium though.
May be for some people it would be a disadvantage, but I am totally fine with that.
4. Shifting: perfect, never missed a gear, Ultegra DI2 was 100% worth it.

This is my WinspaceT1500 build.
Weight without pedals 7.8kg with framesize L. With my MTB double-sided pedals with cage comes at 8.15kg (personal preference).
Build details:
1. Ultregra Di2 8170
2. Hunt 44 Aerodynamicist wheels
3. Custom 3D printed cable routing system. Unfortunately FSA N69 has not worked for me, it had larger bearing than needed and was 2-3mm wider from each side, looked pretty ugly as a mushroom, so I went with custom 3D printed solution.
I also did not want the original bar and stem combo because it does not provide any position fit possibilites, rather then removing spacers.
4. Lightweight UNO -17 degree 110 mm stem and aluminum Pro-Vibe handlebars.

Saddle is a test one, so definetely will be some changes here.

Any updates on this one Oleg? How was the warranty return experience?

So, good thing is that return is fully completed.
1. Money for the frame came immediately after I showed them post tracking.
Still I have lost 80 Euros on currency EUR-USD conversion from my credit card.
2. They have paid me return shipping, but after they have received the package, so 1 month later.

From that point of view, ICAN is a fair company. Peggy is also nice, but he can not handle the absence of QC in ICAN.
Timewise, I lost 1.5 month on handling the faulty frame. All in all, I went with Winspace T1500 frame, bought used. Now my LBS builds a bike for me.
