Re: Advice on Fork Quality [Picture Inside] That just looks like stream of glue left behind from metal cable inlet insertion in the steerer. Kind of like when you apply glue with fingers and last drop drips off.

Re: Advice on Fork Quality [Picture Inside] It looks like the mould was relatively cheap which is probably why the moulding lines are prominent. The glue job is just lazy/unprofessional and not a safety risk. It does provide some indication of the general care and attention to detail the manufacturer provides though.

Re: dcrf26 frame - Scott Foil? I'm not exactly sure what you are asking here. Pat's experience was that the width between faces of the bottom bracket shell was 86.5mm if that helps.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-218 Big update time.

My original frame was discovered to have a crack in the seat stay on the drive side. I opened a claim with velobuild and they shipped a replacement which I got about a month later (they had to make me one since my size is XXL).
During that time I looked into fixing the frame like others have done. Ended up following through with fixing it and kept riding it while I waited for a replacement. Once replacement frame was here I decided to buy the extra goodies sans handlebar to have a second bike. Those items have arrived and I will be slowly building up a second bike through the fall. Pictures below will include the carbon repair job I performed and my replacement frame getting painted.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-218 Moar pictures of final frame. I added gloss black vinyl around the paint transition to make them less ugly.
Also OEM Pinarello headset fits the bike perfectly Part#: STHSBF12KITAM (F12 & F)

Re: Yishunbike R1058-D Hello,

What's your height in CM? I do plan to order Yishun 1088-D. Other choices are R086D and LightCarbon LCR0XD. I am planning to rule out R086D because it's very aggressive and my body might not like it even if i go to a bikefitter but I want to know more information about 1088-D before ordering because I am also confused on their sizing. Closest to the geometry that my current bike has is size 560 (which has CF of 530) so I am really confused right now lol.

BTW I asked if their frame 1058-D is available but here's the response from Melinda

"Dear friend,
Pity that R1058D size 54cm is still not available.

The mold has a small problem, we are now still repairing it in order for smooth production running.

Best regards,
Melinda"

Re: Yishunbike R1058-D Thanks for the response!

So base on the geometry sizing, you ordered Size 530 right?
