Title: So at what point do we start getting Chiner components?
Post by: Oolak on October 15, 2015, 09:36:40 PM
Cranks, cassette, pedals, etc that are high quality materials and design without the added expense that a name brand usually adds would be pretty awesome. I'd love to pick up an XTR level chiner cassette for $50.

Do you guys think this is something that may be available in the future?

There is a limit to what non-brand name components I'm willing to purchase.

Absolutely. I agree. But that limit would probably include a few components if they tested out well.

I'm lots of those parts already exist. I did see some drivetrain parts from the China manufacturer section at Interbike a few weeks back. They are just in the extreme low end.
