Re: Yishunbike R1058-D Yes went with the sep bar stem from Yishun. However would go the one piece route if there was substantial weight saving and ofcourse good quality.. There is  Avian Falcon II Integrated Handlebar which is about 285 grams in comparison to Yishun's 410 gram. Problem is they have informed me that they do not offer the headset spacers for it to fit Yishun frameset

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) If its the norm, which is unusual, I have seen a youtuber named oz cycle who has a youtube video dealing with headset space and how to protect it from water using a rubber gasket or a seating washer titled Thread cables thru frame - How to {you can start clip at 2 minutes in)

Re: Yishun R086-D Aero Road Yes as Joegal said its for the Di2 cable (also Ltwoo electronic group-set). You would use if if you did not have a one by set-up to control the front derailleur

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame Sakizashi since I already have the 168, like you I am considering getting the 268, without the handlebar and stem. My issue with VB is the shortest (width) handle  bar they have tends to be 40's and I prefer 38's. Also in the past I have seen a tendency for their sep handlebar and stem tend to  result in headset play vs their one piece. The 950 grams for the medium (current 168 is a 54) is of interest considering I would probably go a bit smaller (52). Suspect I can probably end up with a build of 7.2 (pedals and bottle cage included)

Re: Yishun R086-D Aero Road would suggest you try thread locker on the bolts 'and see if 10 nm works

Re: Yishunbike R1058-D vs Velobuild VB-R-268 Have not tried those frames Have the VB168 and a Yishun. My experience and research shows that Yishun offers better quality framesets. Yes VB is more responsive to questions, but there are less issues with Yishun. The finish tends to be much better than VB.

Re: SPD-SL Pedals on AliExpress See no reason to go with options outside of the mainstream (Shimano, Look, Time). You can get a Ultegra spd sl pedal for 80 or a 105 one for about 60 via ebay. Amazon has Time pedals for around 40.00  Have tried the route you are trying and ended up going back to the original. Have experienced  non original pedals {spd sl)that came not properly greased; Not as easy to clip in and out as the original. Not all cleats are manufactured with the strict standard as the original. Have some China speedplay pedals (titanium) that I purchased six months ago that have started to rust(note I do not recommend speedplay, the platform is not wide enough). Honestly my experience is you do feel the difference (originals vs copies)

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) Looking for feedback from persons  owning LCR017-D (light version), how does it ride? Is it stiff? Any regrets re the purchase and if yes why?

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) Been eyeing it also, they told me they can ship a size 52 (LCR017-) in 2 days after I placed my order. However they reminded me they only have a limited supply on hand. Really not into getting frames painted, the naked color I have found works, especially since it helps me to hide new purchases from my wife. Really would like to see feedback from others who have made the purchase regarding the ride feel, especially how it compares to known brands
