It's probably worth making a new thread for these brakes to discuss peoples findings and expeiences. If we can find a way to get them working optimally and consistent we have a really useful piece of equipment on our hands. So much cheaper and so much lighter than a full hydraulic set up and without the fuss of bleeding brakes. TraceVelo says he has 90% of the stopping power that hydraulic gives him.

I don't have a source for a replacement top cap. I could probably model and print you one though, if you are located somewhere sending a package from Germany to is not outrageously expensive. You wouldn't be able to preload the steerer with it - you would have to use a normal round cap for that - but it should look pretty decent. Not what you asked for, but maybe an option, if you're OK with DIYing: I've seen people use gutted/modded/cut dropbar brake lever housings for exactly that purpose. There should also be a few off-the-shelf options. Might be a little heavier and not look as rad, though. But of you use bar tape, it's probably good enough for the style police. Hi everyone, I'm refreshing this topic to show you my future bike! This is my first experience with TanTan and I'm very satisfied with the service so far. I had very specific requirements for this turnkey bike, and Rose from TanTan was very helpful. Here are the photos I received today. Description : TT-X21 custom paint Size 56 50mm carbon rims with Continental GP500 Shimano 105 Di2 They should ship it this week, I can't wait to receive it. I will update as soon. @max_the_rider Did you buy this as a complete bike, painted by TanTan? What groupset is on it and can you share how much this cost? Thx much I bought this frame back in 2020 with this custom design, and only the frame from Tantan. I built the bike by myself. About the groupset, it's a full mechanical Ultegra R8000... A real pain in the a** with the handlebar but it works flawlessly!
