Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
Arno posted the geo chart from Carbonda at the end of this thread:  https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3986.0.html

No BB height, but I'd assume a few mm higher than the 100mm 936 since the new link is just pushing the rear end a bit further down.  Of course if you run more sag with the new link it will probably be very similar.
Ok i saw.
Reach and HA are the same as the basic 100/100mm version but with 120/120 setup and bike raised by 1cm.

It's clearly a pretty different bike with the new link!

Re: WheelTop EDX OS Series Wireless MTB Drivetrain What is the point of buying wheeltop edx while a GX AXS is cheaper and proven?
Or is the quality of wheeltop more on the same level as XX1 groupset?

Re: Yishun R086-D Aero Road
So, like Patrick said, you basically need to add 3cm to the stack figure of a given frame size. That is where the cockpit goes - one piece or not.
Reach will also be shorter; probably between 1cm and 1.5cm to remove.

Re: New gravel carbon frame set with small suspension LCG073-D I watched the small video where you move the "suspension" by hand.
It seems hard to move with a very very little flex.

I can't imagine that with the dampening rubber in place the rear moves a lot...
Is it sill a prototype because now it looks like on terrain we can't expect more than 1cm of suspension or more probably just vibration softening to the saddle?

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc!
Sensah hydraulic gravel groupsets now available.

Looks to be a new rear derailleur with these sets too.

1x12

And you pay 60 euros/dollars for 1 speed more while all is exactly the same, except probably a 11s vs 12s ratchet in the shifter.
The marketing guys of sensah are good to move to sram ;D

Re: ODIN ZEUS one piece carbon stem It's a darimo copy of IX2 stem, design, claimed weight are the sames.

With darimo products if it's not broken by overtighening at 3,1 n.m (when you know it only slips if not at 4 n.m ::)) during installation the question is when will it break. And quality is really handmade...

Would you trust a copy (of a garbage to my opinion) which is 3x less expensive?

Re: Climbing road frame? I agree with buying a used frame or bike from a well known brand.
It's easy find a good rim frame like the supersix evo less than the price of a chiner. And ride quality will be for sure much better.

Maintenance is a non issue for me. I don't know where you ride and how, but i do barely nothing on mine, brake pads once a year, shim bsa bracket is here for years^^

You better think about small stuff like hanger, seat post collar, saddle post... With old rim frames it's sometimes not easy to find replacement if these parts are specific.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
New member here - I also have the same dilemma, and will share my thoughts.
[Edited to add LT266]
When i see all the flat sections on the 017-d i doubt this frame is having good aero performance.
Down tube, seat tube and seat post are totally flat right in the airflow...

About the reach/stack you must take account that frames need special spacer to ensure cable routing, thus you can add at least 1,5cm to 2 cm for real stack and 1cm less for reach.

About workswell, they are not selling a lot for single customers.

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707
- For owners, do you think size m is ok for 170 cm tall and 80 cm insteam?
thanks
I'd say no. Unless you want a very relaxed position with short stem, M will be be way too big, especially tall headtube.
You will surely be better on S size.

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707
Is it right? I always ride mtb and never teste road/gravel bike, so is quite difficult to understand geometry table
Don't worry 8 to 10 cm saddle to bar drop is pretty common for a dropbar bike.
You can always add spacer if you're not supple enough to handle a road position but you can't cut a headtube^^

To me, in the case of the 707, for 170cm tall, M size is too long and too high front end.
S is the better option, XS can do the job too but at the price of an agressive position which i won't recommend to a newbie.
And it's be better not to get a combo handlebar as it's your first experience in dropbar bikes.
