From LTwoo's 2024-25 catalogue, looks like all the rim brake levers will be refreshed to match the design of the hydraulic levers (with the Campagnolo-style thumb shifter than the older Shimano Sora-style thumb lever in the awkward spot).

Mechanical derailleurs getting a refresh too - different graphics but hard to see what's changed mechanically.

R9 gets the holographic decal treatment

More minimal design continues down through the product line:

A slight graphical refresh on the gravel rear derailleurs but looks mostly the same

Still no sign of an electronic rim brake lever so Wheeltop likely to be the only Chinese player in that space for a little while unless Sensah springs a surprise.

Component Deals & Selection / RYET road wheels

Ordered myself some RYET carbon wheels in the recent AliExpress sale - around $315 USD (before tax) to Australia.

Went for the 50mm version with regular steel bearings and Pillar 2015 spokes. This appealed to me over the Elite model wheels as it had the option for no logo and a 21mm internal width.

The wheels aren't supplied with brake pads so I have bought these OG-Evkin pads:

Happy to hear any suggestions people have for rim brake carbon pads on AliExpress and whether there's anything in particular I should look out for with the Ryet wheels/hubs.

Will update once they arrive.

So there are varying reports around the internet that Campagnolo 10 shifters work just fine on an otherwise SRAM drivetrain, for example:

https://www.velonews.com/gear/can-you-run-campy-shifters-with-a-sram-drivetrain-sure-why-not/

https://tandemgeek.wordpress.com/2011/05/29/sram-x-0-10-spd-campy-10-ergo-im-impressed-final-update/

Given that Sensah Empire and SRAM are cross-compatible, has anyone tried Campagnolo 10 speed shifters with Sensah Empire derailleurs and a Sensah/SRAM/Shimano 10 speed cassette? Curious to know if anyone's given it a go before I think of trying it myself.
