Re: Any idea of what model this frame resemble? It looks awesome, love the paintjob. TFSA honestly makes beautiful frames and beautiful paint jobs. A little bit like delihea.
I just wish they also produced endurance frames. I would certainly buy one. Their current catalog, even on gravel (their gravel has exactly the same geometry as the Pinarelly grevil), is just too racey for my long legs / small torso combo.

Re: LTWOO RX hydro sets
Still relevant in the sense of the lack of manufacturer instructions / support though. Even the brake bleed instructions video makes absolutely no mention of the free stroke adjustment:

Will be interesting to see how early reviewers go with the stiff paddles + return of the right lever and whether these things have been fixed.

Hi

Paddle stiffness is solved (see tracevelo's video comment section), there's a screw in the ratchet to increase and decrease stiffness. The brake softness is solved with a combination of
closing the huge gap of the pistons by actuating 10-15 times the brakes without rotors and then finely adjusting the freestroke screw (you have to be super careful not to screw it too much or it pops out, it was a 2-3h pain in the ass to put mine back in). I did that to mine and now the brake is super responsive.

And as I told to Chinacycling and Tracevelo, my paddle returning was never a real issue. Sure it sometimes does not go all the way up, but thst does not block downshifts in my case.

So in summary, levers fine (I think I prefer the clean design of Sensah, but it doesn't bother me to have the side lever), brakes are fantastic, front derrailleur is perfect. Rear derailleur ... So so. I have some issues with my chain (gx eagle) jumping around near the lower pulley when downshifting + going to small chainring at the same time. It sometimes lands at an inclined angle. I have replaced the lower pulley with a narrow-wide profile one (in my opinion, the original should have been like that) and it has definitely improved, but still the shifting is not as crisp as I would like. Maybe with a sram flattop chain or with a chain from other manufacturer. Or maybe with another casette.

Re: Surly coner bar equivalent I have both the standard and the integrated stem ones. The latter I don't like that much because of the weird angles (very negative stem and then very vertical drops. Design mistake imho). The normal zniino one I have been using for 7 months in my 29er and it works very well.

What frame/bike is that mirphak? Looks great.

Flyxii FE02, aka Flybike FM616 aka bombtrack ext-c hook 2020 (or was it 2021)? Bought it in Aliexpress for 400 eur before taxes. I have seen it with coupons for about 320€, so quite a bargain.

Re: Surly coner bar equivalent Most 'bike-allowed' forest and mountain paths are perfectly rideable with a gravel bike there. I am eager to have mine rebuilt (a car runover trashed it one year ago).

Grips are normal ESI grips. I had to add two small pieces at the end since they are the standar/short ones. I think ESI made a longer version, but it is hard to fine and expensive.

Re: lexon frames I have the lexon reverse. Have been used it for a year and a half or so. So far so good. There are some minor details I don't like, like how easy is for dirt to make into the bottom bracket area, and yhat the piece that sits in the frame to make the cables enter and exit the frame could have been made better. Also the frame could have better liners so that you don't have to put foamy tubes for the cables not to rattle and be noisy in the frame

But they are all in reality minor issues, non showstoppers. I really like the relaxes upright geometry of the bike (I hate the mew trends of super long reach, short stack and super aggresive head tube angles...). I am overall very happy with it and if it breaks for whatever reason I will most likely buy myself the same one again.

Re: Lightweight endurance road frame Super long legs (86cm) for a short torso (175cm height), so yes, I am worried about short reach and high stack.

Speedsafe wheels ZiTTO 36T ratchet hubs = SHITE/TRASH So I got these to replace my Mavic crossmax elite (aluminum) based on the recommendation from a friend. And what a mistake I made.

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005002879132400.html

Sure, they are more lightweight, but they are super noisy (not sure if it is the ratchet, the spokes, the hub), like a screamy cat who wants food all the time. Very annoying.

Plus the hub, that ratchet 36T crap ... oh lord. The bearings were completely gone after a few weeks of light use (despite the grease).

The worst part is that I contacted the seller, which claims to be the 'Official SPEEDSAFE store' in aliexpress, and they stopped replying when I send them the pictures of the hub and a video showing how bad they are.

Really horrible experience with Speedsafe, at least through their aliexpress page. Quite the contrary to the Elitewheels wheels I have. I ordered ones for my gravel bike and have been using them for more than a year. They are in mint condition, the hub (Powerway CX32) is absolute fantastic and the bearings are nice Enduro ones, so they are likely to last.

In Summary: DO NOT BUY these (or likely any other wheel) from SPEEDSAFE.

Re: Speedsafe wheels ZiTTO 36T ratchet hubs = SHITE/TRASH Sorry, wrong link.

These ! these should be avoided at all cost. I have also friends with the same hub and it is crap.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm currently looking for wheels for a gravel bike and Elite looks like the go to for value and dependability.

The link you posted sent me to a wheelset that says novatech hubs. Did you get a custom set or is the link not working for me.

The model I bought was excellent. They don't offer it with the Powerway CX32 hub, pity because I am so far really happy with them.
