CS-057 - There is a little slop between the thru axle and the dropouts - not much, but it is there.  I'm using the thru axle that Peter sent with the frame.  I've been out of the game a while and this is my  first bike build with a rear thru axle.  Is this normal?   

Also, is there a threaded hanger that will fit this frame?  I don't care for the exterior nut and the little set screw.

I have a new fork with a 1 1/8" steerer tube that I plan on putting on a CS-057 frame, which has a tapered head tube.  I ran into a similar situation a few years back and got a crown race adapter but can't remember any details about where I got it or what brand the headset/race were.  I've seen the Problem Solvers version but it is a 2-piece contraption and is $40.  Jenson USA has simple conversion races by Chris King and Cane Creek but I'm not sure if they will work with the headset that is supplied with the frame.  Maybe I should just get one of those 2 headsets/conversion races to ensure a nice fit.

Any ideas?   

New to the group - first post and drowning in information.  I have wanted to try a chinese frame for some time and now my wife needs a new bike.  So, she will be the tester.  She is not an aggressive rider and won't be bombing or hucking. - just some moderate cross country.
 
There is so much data that it produces analysis paralysis.  One thing I have noticed on this forum is that there are a few members who know these frames well enough to point out differences among them.  So, I would be grateful for a little help and have narrowed my search parameters down to the following:

Hardtail 29er
BSA threaded BB 68/73
Rear thru axle
Don't need boost
I'd like to stay at or below 70 degrees for head tube angle
Different choice of colors other than black but not a deal killer

I've been looking at the Workswell  WCB-M-062, which is $466 delivered.  Not sure what else is comparable.  The BSA BB seems to eliminate a lot of the other brands but that's just what I like.
