Hi all,
I'm looking for a 26/27.5" frame to replace my current 26" frame. There's so many sites out there i doubt i went through all but for now I've narrowed it down to these few:
http://www.xmiplay.com/ProductDetails1576
http://www.xmcarbonspeed.com/Productinfo.asp?f=1562
https://www.icanbikes.com/html/MTB/26ER_frame/234.html
http://www.flyxii.com/PRODUCTSDetial?product_id=28
http://www.carbonal.com.cn/carbon-mountain-bike/carbon-mountain-bike-frame/carbon-27-5-inch-hardtail-mtb-frames-650b-mountain-bike-carbon-xc-frame-1180g-orion-27-5.html
I know nothing about geometry so that aside I do like the like the design of the ican frame. What do you guys think?
I know some of the 'OEM' companies are not truly OEM and are just reselling. Iplay, xmcarbonspeed and carbonal have 2 years warranty according to their websites, not sure about the others. Also, avast keeps on thinking flyxii's website has malware.

Did you consider a 29er ?
It looks there is trend toward that size on all MTB disciplines.

I've noticed that as well but then I'd have to get a new fork and wheelset. At least for 27.5 I should be able to just use most of the same parts

In your case, I'd go for 27.5. You have better parts options once you upgrade. I believe 26ers forks & wheelsets are starting to get scarce, they probably stop coming up with newer and improved versions. And when the time comes for you to consider a 29er, it is easier to sell a 27.5 than a 26er. Besides, you get to experience the new wheelset, which, imho, is a better ride than 26er.
Personally, I jump right into 29er from 26er and didn't look back since... ah well, granted that l didn't have the 27.5 option when l made the switch. I did looked ahead though, currently on 29+ & loving it.
Btw, I'm bias toward Carbon Speed, more on customer service... both pre and after sales service. Frames are good quality too. Have 4 of 'em, including a custom Ti they facilitated. Like you, I'm not much of a geometry guy either.

A little heads up. The Chinese New Year is on Feb. 5. It's gonna be a long and busy holiday in China. If you don't get your orders in the next few days, it's going to be a long wait.

2.25 is a narrow max tyre for that carbonspeed frame, i'd be looking for something that took at least a 2.4.

Well.. I ended up getting a 2011 ghost actinium at a pretty good price. Probably not the best idea but I couldn't help it-ghost is ultra rare in Singapore, and I've been eyeing them for some time.
I shall keep these sites bookmarked for future projects, though. Thanks everyone

Yup. CNY is typically a 2-week break for everyone in the country.
