Hello,

im considering getting XM-Carbonspeed wheels as well. Are the in house ratchet hubs easy serviceable (e.g. with DT-Swiss upgrade kit or Bearing-Service)?

Ty

Yes, you can use the DT rachets and spring washer to replace the original ones on our in-house hubs, beasings too. We just upgrade the bearings on in-house hubs with ENDURO steel bearings today, previous ones are NBK bearings, some clients don't like the NBK ones.

I got the same spec as him I believe and received the wheels yesterday was $570 shipped to usa and paypal fees.

These are such a nice wheel spec wide, deep and light for the depth and at a good price. I'll probably get some of the D50-36 for my next bike. I was worried about the freehub noise but its not terrible, ali elite wheels hubs I've used are worse.

Peter are you going to do T1100 version of the D50-36?

Yes, your wheels are exactly same spec, the only difference is your rims are in matt finish while Pavlo.k's are UD paintless, so your wheels are a bit heavier than his.

Yes, I think we ware going to do T1100 version of the D50CU-36 rims too.

Hey Peter! Looking good, when you plan to release it? Does second frame follows similar, endurance-focused design, or is it more racy?

Sorry I am not able to upload the pictures, 2nd frameset is CS-R06 frameset is similar to CS-R01. PM me with your email address, I will send you the details.

This combination of rim width and tire width is not recommended and likely not safe to ride.

Another thing: Peter, I sent a mail with a request a couple of days ago, and didn't get a reply so far. Does it simply take a bit longer or is it possible that my mail was lost?
I don't have any unread email in my mail box recently. Which email address did you send to? If possible send me PM with your email address, I will try to send you email first then you can reply me with your request.

Hi Peter, I'm in the market for a new frame, could you pm me more details on this and a price, do you do paint designs?

Sorry. I was planning to upload our 2nd frameset here, but not sure why I wasn't able to upload pictures again.

Could you send me an email and I will reply you with details?

Thank you so much.

The official tire is 700x32c but do you think a 35mm wide tire would fit? I like a narrow all road/gravel (very low knobs) tire and the other specs of this frame is exactly what I am looking for.

Could you send me an email? I will send you extra information for reference, I am not sure 35mm wide tires would fit or not, to me, i think it should fit with the frame.

Any teaser / pictures / geometry of theses frames? Please
Any plans on releasing new frames gravel or road?

Also possibly ship groupsets together with the packaging?

For me this this is a game changer to be able to get them shipped all together and save some costs. I understand it's not part of the core business (at least the groupsets) but at least for me, sourcing "all bigger pieces" - frame, groupset, wheels - from 1 place would help me definitely to choose a supplier. So far only Tantan is providing this to me, but their prices on groupsets are too high and wheels manufacturing needs thruiing most of the times.
See the attached geometry and some pictures for CS-R01 frameset, size 54cm is around 950g, max tire size is 700x32C, T47-68 bottom bracket, available sizes: XS/S/M/L

We would release two new road disc frames, but biggest sizes on both framesets is about 54cm for now, and we are still having someone testing them.

I don't think we would offer groupset, it is not cost-effective to buy Shimano or Sram from China, and we don't want to be reseller on Ltwoo or Wheeltop, and their quality...

TanTan makes good quality frames, and we have been cooperating with each other on some points. Will try our best to offer best value frameset and wheels package.

I don't think it's anything against you here, Peter :)

You have a good reputation that you have built throughout these years. All clients of you say good things even if they don't end up buying from you. So in summary, we "know how good your product is".

The pricing is always a no question here though users were putting it. There are cases where it's more expensive, others cheaper. It's a no question as some people prefer to pay less, others are comfortable to pay more and have better support/answers. In my case, as I told you back then, I ended up going for Yuanan because they had a cheaper shipping (50% less) but could go to yours on my next build (though as I say usually I'm sourcing everything from the same factory, currently Tantan).

I think here most users are actually pointing the finger to Serge... All the posts we see about him lately mention you which makes it sound "too pushy" in the sense of almost feel like advertising. It may or may not be, I could not care less about it, but I agree it feels "false" seeing all his posts mentioning you.

But again, this is my feeling.

Would I be ok in buying from you? of course I would. Will I? When some of your products fit my interest/my clients interest. Most people here in the forum feel the same I think.

Sure. Buying from us or some company else or Aliexpress is all OK to me. I don't say any bad words pointing to any competitor publicly or behind his back. All suppliers should put most effort into better quality and best service, this would move carbon bike business forward. Again, we don't do any shilling stuff, people have their own different choices and voices. We have sponsored several giveaways on this forum since 2015, like frame, rims, wheels, our original intention is to have more guys using Chinese carbon stuff and giving some reviews to make products better and better.

10
And I doubt that the rim is full T1100. Maybe a mix of 700, 800 and 1100.
It can't be full t1100, it wouldn't pass impact résistance test. The T1100 version is a mix of all 3 fibers.
Correct. It can't be full T1100, otherwise it would be too fragile.

Same. You can talk to Elitewheels too. In fact some of the Elitewheels guys seem to be sitting in the USA as they reply in US times. When I bought their wheels, they shipped it from USA thru UPS 3 day. Completely fuss free transaction. I bought Easedon too and there is indeed direct communication with the seller. Vendors like that were always on Aliexpress IMO. I got custom finish, spokes, hubs etc. Spec to spec, the wheels from Peter were straight $150 extra over what I paid on Aliexpress for Easedon because he wanted $100 for shipping v/s $10 for Easedon. And I don't care who made them. It could be Peter, it could be Tommy it could be Jackie Chan even. I understand rim brake wheels are going fast out of fashion but that is some hefty penalty for "personal" service. What do I, as a customer looking to buy one wheelset in a year stand to gain by getting into good books of a seller on Whatsapp? The shilling has reached bonkers level on this forum in last few months.

It is really rediculous, I don't know where the shilling comes from, guys, please check my registered date on this forum, and check the early threads in the vendor discussion & reviews section, and you also can see "More reviews on our products chinertown.com " buttom at the top right of our website, maybe you don't know how this chinertown forum came, you can see earliest posts here, even more posts in "Chinese carbon 29er" and "Chinese Carbon fatty"on MTBR, Peter always just cares about the products quality and service. You guys sent inquiries or asked questions to me, if I didn't reply, I'm so sorry, to you several guys, but no matter PM or email, even just post a question asking me, I replied all of them, right ? Or did I compel you guys to buy stuff from me?  No offence.
Different buyers are looking for different target pricing items, at the same time, different vendors have their own company orientation, like Farsports, Light Bicycle, TanTan, Yishun and us. If you don't like our products or service, you can look for proper pricing items somewhere else. If you have bought our products and feel bad on them and think our after-sale serivce horrible, you can say any bad words here or anywhere else, I take that.
I have been doing this business for 14 years, I know what people care, but I can't please everyone and for some reason I have mentioned in my promotion thread we don't sell on aliexpress. As a manufacturer, we attend to many bicycle fair like Interbike and Eorubike, so we have numbers of OEM clients brands to cooperate and service, like Yuanan does. Why I posting here and the only thing I say to my clients especially DIY guys who have bought our products on the forum, if they feel good on our products and our service,  leave some pertinent words and do some reviews if possible, to let more guys know and talk about our products, this can help us to make sure we are on the right way to make right stuff.
Thank you for your critical comments, this would help us too. Let products and top service say words.

12
Are you also offering Wheels with Dynamo?
Sorry, no for now.

13
I am also looking for wheels right now, and depending on the design, these may also interest me. Do you have a rim weight for the 65mm deep T1100 rims?

Regarding hubs, do you build with 0011 / THR Industries RX hubs or R3 road hubs? With CX-Rays Super or Alpina Hyperlight Aero spokes, these appear to be built wheels lighter than most carbon-spoked wheels.
I might be interested in the lighter hubs version 65mm deep. Do you know yet roughly in which part of 2025 it might be?

I don't think we want to do the T1100 version on D65CU-33 rims for now, it is too deep and we need to assess the possibilities like balance between strength, stiffness and light weight. We will try to do T1100 and test on D65CU-33, if everything is okay, then we will release them too.

14
Peter, are you guys gonna have a similar version for MTB wheels?
Yes, we will do, it would be 29er 30mm inner width XC rim around 300g/piece

Early 2025, likely Jan or Feb.
